Been feeling bad with a Man cold the last few days, obv these are the worst kind and Petra and Maxwell now have it as well so its all croaky voices and sniffles at chez Eso.

However this morning whilst on an extra snooze as we dont get to the office till 9am on Saturday I was thinking how much of a bond Petra and Max have after he woke at 7am and then came into our bed for his morning feed, Petra was really determined about some stuff when pregnant like she wanted to have a home-birth and also to breastfeed and she has done both but seeing the wee man's face light up when i carry him to the room first thing with him thinking nomnomnomnomnom and then how his little hand holds on to her is really special.

Then came a lovely drive to work with the tide in but no wind out there it looked like a mill pond on the estuary and one of those fresh winter days where walking along the front stopping for a coffee here and there would be great, alas though no of that for me as were in the worst part of the year for agents where this weekend is pretty much the last time any clients are bothered to view and the days really drag with not a lot to do but the bosses know this is the case so dont worry about it too much.

Workwise roll on January!!

HORSES AND FOOTIE

Today I am backing a horse called DEIREADH RE in the 1.55 at Cheltenham at 15/8 with William Hills and if this wins I shall place a hefty wager on a football treble for the afternoon, if not I shall leave the treble alone.

On the goals front I am on over goals in 2 x £25 accas

1) B/ham, Middlesbrough, Watford, Walsall, Cheltenham, Real Madrid, Hannover   returns £1895.88

2) Norwich, West Brom, Derby, Reading, Huddersfield, Sheff Utd, Crawley, Morecambe returns £2121.62

As a side note DUCAL runs tonight in the 18.50 at Wolverhampton which did us a favour when winning at the track a few runs back and gave us subsequent winners Good Authority and Chokidar and having changed stables could be an each way bet to nothing at 9/2

How much is the stake for the over goals mate plus I might have a bash but have no idea how to place a bet on how many goals scored!!

£50 staked bud and if you go into shops they will help but dont go to Laddies as their acca pays on 34/1 if you bink instead of 80/1

Well that was lucky as we were never going to win unless the one in front fell!!!

So had £160 on at 15/8 and have now invested £225 of the profit on a treble of

Man Utd
Arsenal
Crawley
which returns £650.57 if it cops and am freerolling both my goals bets for the afternoon now
