WHAT A DIFFERENCE A FALLER MAKES!!

At 2pm on Saturday with my horse looking one paced it was likely only the over goals bet for interest over the weekend, then a faller means we scoop £300 profit so invest 75% of that into a short priced treble on the footie which cops a few pennies over £650 and were full of beans.

The over goals bet was never really a runner this week with no real sweat as although on the best line I had 6/8 correct early on, one match was 0-0 20mins to go and were never collecting from there. So in the evening I invested £50 in a Barcelona/ A Khan to win on points double at 13/8  and 6/4 respectively and watched the fight in the morning with Max to see him lose on points in a close run thing  Sad   (note to self - need to cut out the bets for something to watch!!)

I have some ideas that I am going to bring into my diary for 2012 and will post more on this later in the year!!

Sunday my only bet of the day was on the NFL and a combo of the shrewdies and Sicillians advise and scooped a return of £560 on a handicap and 3 odds on match acca and had already received a pass out from the boss to play the Southend monthly £100 at the Genting Westcliff to arrive finding they have not updated their website and it is now £50 f/o but meh were there now!!

It was good seeing some old faces and i had to be sure not to level myself or get involved in any fps and managed to value bet my way to 3rd place despite being pretty card dead and went home with a few hundo more for the weekend having enjoyed the banter from the old boys and marvelling at raises to 1200 at 1/200 and them being happy with the 300 profit before open showing  declaring "well I didnt want to see an  or on the flop"

The players there really have not changed since early 2000's and anyone half competent would surely GIQ in the comps and the cash.

There was an interesting note to the evening with a topic of conversation from the game on Friday night when midway through the night, the police came into the card room and arrested a young chineese kid actually cuffing him on the stairs. Obv I wont name names but this lad is about 7 stone wet through and allegedly it is to do with a the touch screen Roulette and some fake £££ which have been used over a long period of time, if it is true there are a few of his buds who may be having a knock at the door as they are all as thick as thieves and probs a bit naive IMO.

This week entails trying a few sats online for the Monte Carlo as a £1k event is probs a bit rich unless we bink some 3 day sport acca!!

Max had his first Xmas party yesterday with a few of the kids who were on the same ante natal course we attended.
I have attached a few photos and he is already "stealing the blinds!!" as you will see
