Driving back down South I was thinking about my exit hand from the MC and realised I was prbs a bit hasty in jamming when I could poss have found a better spot on the next orbit but hey were learning all the time, stopped off at Luton as a mate was in the last 12 of the main event of their Xmas cracker and was going to rail him but when I get there he has bust so we decide to play the £100 side event instead.

Whilst waiting his missus who is a Slot Jockey is sat happily playing away and he is on the touch bet roulette spinning up from £20 to £100 back down rinse repeat and he then decides "I have £70 so if I turn it to £110 I play the sidey if not I go home and play the million", so we sit at the Blackjack and I watch and 4 hands later he is upto £130   wiiiiiiiiiiiii  "stop now then and you can buy me a curry" (learnt that line from Vinny) ok just a few more hands.   Obv the degens know this is a mistake and the shoe is destined to turn against him and 15 mins later its off to the cash desk, I remember those days well.

The tourney was a bit meh and I never really got started and ended up getting Ko'd 3 tables out having raised the co with  and left a 3/4 psb back and got peeled otb and jammed the  two spades three diamonds flop to be shown the mighty  Two Clubs oh how I wish I knew what flops were coming!!

Got back home and back in the office for the last week at work in 2011   wiiiiiiiiiii

Monday 19th

Work is dead for us now just 2 exchanges were waiting on and the odd iewing to arrange so its a case of browse Blonde and start writing my business plan for a venture I am looking to do in 2012, at 4.30pm I get a phone call from Petra in histerics saying can I come home.

Now she never phones me at work unless she has to and I snap leave still not sure what I am going to find so ring her and all I can make out is I'm calling the doctor, so its not the Bentley (the dog) and must be her or Maxwell. Obv all the sunday drivers are still out on the seafront looking at the lights and I get back rush upstairs to find Petra crouched on the floor with Maxwell  who seems happy enough.

It turns out the doctors had advised her to use a steam bath to try and clear Max's head a bit since his cold a month ago and as she was doing this Max kicked the big jug and it went over Petras leg and bum cheek and had now blistered up and was pretty red and angry so off to the hospital we go and whilst she was in pain and crying a bit, deep down I know she was glad it was her and not Max and I didnt want to say anything to make her fel worse so just reasssured her that it would be all ok.

Straight into see the triage nurse and then 20 mins to see the doc and we leave with some burn shield and an appt to go back to out patients today, she is lucky as a few inches the other way and she would defo be in more pain. It was a horrible feeling driving back home not knowing what you could be coming back to but I am sure there will be more bumps and bruises to attend to along the way.

No more live poker for this year now and I am looking at 2012 and all the events out there to see which ones I want/would like/can afford to play along with some goals I would like to achieve in 2012

Over the weekend I managed to meet some heroes namely Dubai who I have spoken to loads and who is much smaller in real life and also Lildave (whose blog I am now starting from the beginning) who is much taller in real life than you would imagine!!
