Have 2 x £40 footie bets
both teams to score in  Coventry/Fleetwood/Newcastle/Norwich/Morecambe/Southend/Bath matches and then

over 2.5goals Brighton/N Forest/Watford/Carlisle/Falkirk/Elgin/Man City/Espanyol

Sigh just Port Vale not scoring let me down for a £1600 bink so coupled with the horse running averagely this is the running total pre poker

Sports betting +£449
Goals betting -£120
Football -£210
Horses -£330 (inc a free £30 bet from laddies)
Poker -£205
2012 P+L = -£416

Weekend Poker

After the horse had lost I arrived at DTD about 10mins into the comp and waited in line to enter to find out I was 25th reserve as there were not enough dealers and eventually got in just as level 2 was starting and was kind of regretting not looking around to see who was in line as this was going to be my starting table.  As tables go it wa pretty solid with Jamie Dale, Buzz Harvey and another of their cronies along with Lee Taylor, the fella who looks like Lee Mack another solid player I know and 2 randoms but I had good pos on Jamie and Buzz so it could have been worse.

I chipped up solidly in the first 2 levels we played before the break and was at 39k with a decent image but in the next 3 levels I tilted for the first time that I can remember and it was not down to the poker. I had already had the losing horse bet and normally this does not bother me in the slightest and with a footie bet running found myself watching the scores and not concentrating 100% on the poker which is crazy as that's what I am there for and obv I cannot change what is going on with the footie and should just check the scores on the break (this is a leak for me that I shall defo sort out) and although I did not decimate or butcher any hands I felt that as full time happened and I was 1 goal off a £1600 win I was a bit pissed off.

So having had a quiet few levels and down to 31k at 200/400/25 the co who was a random and imo the worst player on the table opens to 1600 which he does every time its folded to his co (he has recently lost a pot when he called an 4b jam having been the or for 60% of his stack with A10o) and the btn who knows what he is doing 3b's to 3500 and not having been mega active decide to 4b from the sb with  to 8200 hoping to pick up the pot there alas after a dwell and the orignal raiser fold he makes it 18k and with no manoeuvrability left dwell fold and am under starting stack for the first time today.

After picking up a couple of small pots comes my exit hand with the blinds now up at 300/600/50 I raise to 1600 from 24600 with  and a new player who I have been tustling with flats in mp, it folds to the random in the sb who Jams for 12600 and the chap from the KJhh hand 4b's to 30k effectively setting me or the flatter all in.

I called and am still not sure if it is the correct call so gonna post in PHA to see who calls and I get Ko'd and depart back to the hotel to watch the NFL...

Sunday is another Day..

After a lay in I arrive back at DTD for the £150 plus a sweat having bought 1% of Dubai pre Xmas and sit down with a decent table until Ben Vinson turns up on my left and fortunately for me he receives a pretty brutal beat to leave him with 1k at 50/100 and then busts out with me steadily chipping away with some cheeky 3b's and some get theres having been the agressor in pos getting value in all spots.

2 table moves happen as the blinds start to rise and from 4/800 to 8/1600 I am spot and card dead so grind it out with a 20k stack and then move to table McCluskey/Ho and it is obv that we have to be jamming and re-jamming some good spots here to survive as most of the table have less than 10bb's, it amazes me that players just fold and fold in these comps and on a break I had a really good chat with Mark and feel he is a really good addition to Team Eureka although I am not too sure what his dance moves are like though!!

At level 2/4000 and 3/6000 I was just jamming paint, pairs, suited 1/2 gappers against the nits and was on the receiving end of some beats and coolers and probably had a tez table image but sailed through the bubble and then with Mark having rejoined the table to my immediate left found a raise fold with A10 v JJ and then next hand jammed my now 10bigs with  and he found dem cowboys to knock me out for a min cash of £275 and one more hendon mob flag than Herbie has this year  Wink

What a legend Dubai is though and in only my second stake ever think I should now give up!!

Work has been incred since the start of the year and we have currently smashed in 4 sales for about £14000 nett business at the end of the first week  Smiley with the other offices still waiting to get into a positive on the month.

Desperately trying to get a pass out for another weekend up in Notts for the grand prix this weekend and will worry about telling Petra I would need to be back the following weekend later (in before "you never make day 2 anyway")

My main goal for this week is to make at least 2 visits to the gym as need to get back into it!!
