Had a fun time on the LVTC challenge event last night and 5 hands in had gone from 2k to 10k then 18k and 38k in comm fashion before the rebuy period finished at 60/120 then came a table move and saw Craigbetts SPEW hard after he got tilted as the first hand i sit down I 4b Aces and he ends up disco'ing 5 mins later gg 40k.
I on the other hand was amassing 100k @ 150/300 and held between this and 140k till we were 2 tables out and then I missed out on my final table stack when I min raised the button knowing one of the blinds were likely to ship and happy to call it off but my A10 didnt hold v KJ and 2 hands later shoved K7 into AA bb to finish 14th.

It's Valentines today and obv been flamed for my photos and it seems Petra had a similar idea although her skills with the camera and photoshop far outweigh mine here was my card

Everyone's fave Crab texted me earlier to say that he feels  THEO WALCOTT represents vv good value tonight in the ANYTIME GOALSCORER with William Hills at 6/1 all other oddsmakers are between 11/4 -9/2 and he says the stats are a 7/2-4/1 chance so although late notice good value bet!!

I reckon over the past 5 years if I gave you £500 as a guess and you had the exact figure I would be expecting a couple of hundred in change for all house games!!

The only time I play is if out with the office on a social and everyone is playing tbh I would just sit on the 3card and lose my money slowly, it really does not give me the same buzz anymore!!

Out of interest is that how you spewed some ££ recently?  obv tell me to gtfo if u want

Eso, degen story pls?
Ok as you a fellow degen has asked!!

The last time I was in trouble ££ wise (about 7 years ago) was to the Chinese and I was in for £5000 and for the 3 months prior I had been servicing the £1000 per month interest charge without a problem and just needed a bink from somewhere to get me out of it as usual, but this particular month had been really bad in the estate agency world and as 60% of my income is made up on commission I never really know how much I will be paid until about 3 weeks before when all the cheques have been banked.

I knew I was not going to earn enough to cover all my ex's and the interest payment on the debt and was starting to feel up against it so was trying to work out who better to knock, either my existing d/debits or the chinese obv the chinese would have got their money and I would have cancelled all the other debits so as not to incur another chunk of bank charges and then blamed it on the bank and reset them for the month after  Wink

My mind was pretty much made up and it was the day before pay day and a day off adn I had about £80 on me so I decided to try and have a little spin up to get me into a little festival event that weekend in the hope of winning the ££ needed, I was cute enough to know that this was unlikely but looked at the racing cards and the meeting at Goodwood looked pretty tough with some favourites that could be beaten out of the frame so I invested £12 on a placepot perm 1x1x2x3x2x2 @ 50p and a £20 straight line on my strongest fancies.

I put another £20 on placepots at the other meetings but they blew out early on, for those that dont know a placepot is where you have to get a horse in the frame ( winner if 4 runners or fewer, 1st or 2nd if 5-7 runners, first 3 if 8-15 runners and if it's a 16 runner handicap its the first 4 places) for the first 6 races at that meeting and all the money bet into the pool gets put together and is split up race to race and after the 6 races they divide the amount left into the pool (minus approx 26% tote reduction) and a dividend is declared to £1.

The Goodwood meeting was my only chance but after 3 races there were no favourites placed which is always good as people stick favs in and then wonder why the dividend is low! after the 4th racewhich again had no favourite it looked like I could get a draw out of the day and with 2 runners in the next 2 races I was hopefull.  The 5th race was no problem and I double up with both horses placed so was running to £2 in my permed bet and the £20 straight line going as well and as I was sat in W/Hills and they were not very helpful in respect of finding out how much was left in the pool I walked up the road to Ladbrokes to see that if the horse in my £20 line was placed (also in the perm) with neither the second or third fav placed then the dividend would be around £300 which was disappointing due to the lack of fav's placed but would still give me around £6000.

TBH I have never had such a sweat free race as my horse led all the way and kicked clear with me just sat silently waiting for the dividend to be declared and walking up to the counter to tell them I would be back the next day and wanted all cash, they checked the slip and the dividend came to £292 which I had 22 times giving me a £6424 return and 2 phone calls later to the debtor to say I would be over the next day to pay off the £5000 plus the interest and I was free again for another few weeks!!

I was speaking to my cousin today, lets call him Dave.  Dave is about 32 and works in the city and has never bought a property but rents for £2400 pcm close to where he works for one of the banks, yesterday he rang me having asked my advice previously about purchasing something to tell me he has offered on the property he rents.

This is not the exact one as his is a 2 bed but he has offered £687'000 as a FIRST TIME BUYER!!!

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-26492449.html

I cant believe it tbh so today I emailed him this beauty which has just come on the market with ourselves and can be secured for around £725000 and is only 1 hour on the train to London, 5 mins walk to the station, 10 mins to the seafront!!
What would you rather buy???
