Southend to Nottingham and back in 12 hours!!

Well the weekend was pretty GASH all over tbh commencing with the £150 at DTD and having left work at 2pm and had a nice drive up I was really looking forward to the tourney as not played live since the Jan deepstack. I won a small pot mid through level 1 to send me to 16k and then found    and 3b Mr Skipper's raise getting called by Greek Jack, button and Skipper to see a flop of    and after Skipper leads for 2k we bump it up to 5050 and the button cold flats which obv sets alarm bells ringing but we can re-enter yeah and if Skipper flats I had the intention of jamming and non diamond straighting card and when the  rolls off and Skipper checks i decide if the button has QJ or 78 (less likely) then meh and jam 12k into 18k and get insta called by the button and Skipper dwell folds declaring K9 and Greek Jack saying he folded K10 otf and I was left with 1k.

Spun it up to 3k before losing to a flopped set on a board of 569 me holding A9 and it was off to the cashiers desk we went, I had satelited in for my initial entry so £168  needs to be added (taken off) my poker total and I was sat at a new table and despite picking up some good cards in great spots they always had better or got there and with 20 bb's left and a loose opener utg raising to 650 at 150/300 and 2 flatters behind I jammed  (I mean its parsley right!) and the second flatter looks me up with a cutely played pair of cowboys and after the case K turned up in the window I stood up and watched the poker gods give me a rub with the JJ turn and river combo and it was back down the M1 as needed to be back in Essex on Saturday.

I got back in at 1.30am and the joys of Maxwell woke me up at 7am so we went and had breakfast and let Petra sleep on a bit and after a quick study of the Racing Post decided that I was not having a bet that day until at 5pm I decided impulsively after seeing the teams and watching the first 5 mins of the Sunderland Arsenal game to lay Sunderland for £660 approx in the next bet in my challenge (obv this is seperate ££ and accounted for in the £40 per bullet) but I didnt feel right about the bet 5 mins after placing but didnt have the balls to just trade out for a £20 loss and move on. It was really disappointing tbh and I was dev'd whilst watching the match having this feeling that the bet was defo a loser, it infact reminded me of times where I have had a chunk of ££ on something years ago and that feeling of numbness when you know it's gonna lose, I am sure every punter knows and has had this feeling??

Sunday was another day and after a nice brekkie and a visit from the builder who is fitting a new bathroom in the next couple of weeks we went off to look at some showrooms followed by a wlak on the front and after dinner I decided was gonna grind a couple of feeder sats and the golden chip tourneys on DTD alongside some small mtt's and laid out about £36 bust everything except my first tourney which was a 3euro rebuy gtd at e3000 and had a stack early never outside the top 20 sailed to the final table and didnt even look at the moniez until I bust HU to see I had shipped euro661 for 2nd which felt like alot more!!

Running total updates

Need to add in £40 on a dog pm'd to me y/day
£40 from £40 to £25k challenge y/day
£36 outlay online pokers
£168 on live pokers

returns £515 online but only counting £400 as cashed out y/day

It felt like a really rubbish weekend and then I realised I dont play poker for a living or gamble for my income and that these 2 people are the most important thing!!

I was speaking to my cousin today, lets call him Dave.  Dave is about 32 and works in the city and has never bought a property but rents for £2400 pcm close to where he works for one of the banks, yesterday he rang me having asked my advice previously about purchasing something to tell me he has offered on the property he rents.

This is not the exact one as his is a 2 bed but he has offered £687'000 as a FIRST TIME BUYER!!!

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-26492449.html

I cant believe it tbh so today I emailed him this beauty which has just come on the market with ourselves and can be secured for around £725000 and is only 1 hour on the train to London, 5 mins walk to the station, 10 mins to the seafront!!
What would you rather buy???

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-21881898.html

^^^^ We have today received and offer within about 96% of the asking price so hope to get it under ofeer today and the vendor has given us one of his other properties to sell as well today!!

Past the Westcliff casino and The Kursall head towards Thorpe Bay and before you get to the Harvester @ Shoeburyness it's one of the big gaffs on the left!!

Ah. Would absolutely love living there. Nice enough scenery and the chance to play cash games vs the Southend regulars would appeal greatly to me!

Not sure its a 2 million pound house though. Still hopefully you can get it sold!

footie sigh...got a new way of doing things and since i started it 3 weeks ago almost hit it..last two weeks one result each time..one of them bizarre...hull scoring 3 goals at home GTFO... and this week 1 goal !..will inbox you this weeks stuff..had a good weekend on individual stuff...had overs on liverpool..palermo and barcelona and stoke ftw at 1.9 was toooo good to miss..thought that was a wrong price tbh..spurs failing to score 1 poxy goal dampened a clean sweep..i mean ffs cmon boys was fucking awful..

watched the Barca match..OMG.... what a team..Messi just unreal..for once the hype not wrong...they were simply stunning ! and Palermo battered Lazio with some great goals..

Hoops almost back to even and improving...tough market..but getting the feel for it...am loving it tbf...missed a lovely 5 fold the other day..valentines day and was rushing the selections so i could go and be romantic..instead of  ftw i mis-clicked the one below 'race to 20 points' nearly had a heart attack the next morning when checked the scores rubbed my hands together in little glee and expecting a nice added lump to the account... next to one bet said lost..was half way to online support when i noticed...sigh not the first time a woman has cost me money !!

Cheers Marky was just an overall shitty w/end and not often I feel like that!!

How are you doing atm?

Yeah I feel like that when I get up to see a nagme post on the other forum, the horse is 75s on b/f and because I've gone to bed at 7am. I wake up and the thread is 16 posts deep so I know the coup before I open it up, sure enough I've missed it hacking up and consider myself a grand down before breakfast Sad

Other than my legs not doing what they're told atm I'm good, I've got a bench and some weights in the conservatory so cracking on with that. Back to the specialist in 6 weeks and hopefully he can sort me out, even if it's only to get me back to where I was 6 months ago it'll do!!
