QUICK CATCH UP
Over the weekend I finished my duties as a bookies runner for "Camel" and it was pretty interesting and he ran pretty bad tbh although with me as one of his horses showed a small profit and released the deposit bonus meaning he won on the week.
Work was sooooo busy and we have currently sold 15 houses for the month which is incred and yesterday with my new guy onboard there was a real buzz in the office, offers flying around everywhere meaning the day just flew by!!
I posted on Vinny's diary a message yesterday as when I first bought him dinner at the "G" we found out that we are both Short,Chubby,Folically challenged,Parents from same village in Malta and that both Holly and my Dad passed away on March 19th so yesterday despite being a really busy day was also a very sad day!
RIP DAD!! Thought about everyday and very much missed and would have made an amazing Grandad, which is one of the really sad things about him passing!!
I put up a staking thread over the weekend as my life roll just does not enable me to potentially spend £2500 in 5 weeks on poker and was chuffed to bits to sell out which means I can play all the events, there are 2 heavyweight stakers in Tikay and Flushy so hopefully can bring them some further rungood.
Finally we fly to Slovakia tomorrow for a week and I am looking forward to a week away from the normal life pressures and to see Petra's family and for them to spend some time with Maxwell as it is his first birthday Friday, my Mum is coming also but on Mothers Day there was the (excuse the pun) "Mother" of all rows between Petra and my Mum over looking after Max and it looked like Mum was not going to come with us until I stepped in to resolve it.
Basically on Saturday my Mum who looks after Max for 2 days per week to enable Petra to work from home went into Max as he was crying whilst he was going for a nap in the afternoon which meant he got all excited and then didnt want to sleep at all, taking him out of his routine and if that happens everytime she looks after him makes life more difficult for Petra as obv if he does not want a nap he knows it's ok to cry and then someone will come to him and that is not good.
I stood on Petra's side as she has looked into the psychology side of baby sleep and routine is key and my mum really didnt think she has done anything wrong so Mothers day was not enjoyed at all by anyone

hopefully though it is all now resolved and she understands that Petra must have the overiding decision on how Max is looked after or it just wont work even if my Mum does not agree with it!
