You got his autograph, that'll be worth something.

When Rich got knocked out of the deepstack last weekend, everyone at the table wanted to shake his hand when he left.  I haven't washed mine since.
That was funny, it was like everyone was gutted I got Ko'd!

Except you ofc as it meant you might win a few pots  Wink

[ ] I did.

Big thx for the winner y/day but never been so gutted tbh.
At DTD Monday after a winner on the second half corners in the Man Utd match I lumped on the profit and stake onto someone elses tip and it was GG then despite not feeling great sat down in the £150 at DTD bluffed off my first entry with 10high and no equity and then got blinded away in a series of raise re-raise spots and a run of cards that could make 2 different straghts and flushes and therefore missed the 25/1  that I was going to pre Black Monday have £100e/w on.

Tuesday comes and we see it is now 16/1 and cant get out as after 4 days out of the office its manic so wait till Weds where the best price is now 14/1 with B/fred and by 9.30 this is 12/1 so having halved in price I stick £40 win as I decide I have now missed the value therefore imo I back it big and it will finish 2/3/4th and it will be FML on the place money or I back it e/w and it runs nowhere and I have then done double the dough on half the price!
So happy and prepared to lose £40 and then I watch a brilliant ride by Mr Crowley and there was only one winner off the last   SIGH

Seems ridiculous, but I know what you mean, a bloke I work with backed it but not until yesterday morning. I told him over skype while we were working and he got distracted after opening up to put it on. I should have put it up, but when he said that it had moved yards only a couple weeks previously and that might scupper it I decided to not say anything to be safe Sad

A guy on our forum blindly backs Crowley on anything no matter the race/price and he gets ribbed mercilessly for it. I said after that race maybe he's onto something as that looked like one of the slickest rides I can remember and it was like he had the whole race planned from the off!!

You know it's bad when you're sighing at winning a monkey Cheesy

Went to BnQ this morning as had a load of DIY type stuff to do, missus says to me, "is that Pine", i say no "it's Timber" she says "what tree is that from then?.." FML I am thick. So it appears Timber isn't an actual type of wood? meh, i'm still confused.

My main reason for posting this morning, reading my programme and what do I see written on the sender's address. Nice initials Sir.

Thanks BITB

In a mutual show of <3 I also read your diary everyday and everyone of your PHA posts!!

Hmmmm next 5 years, well on a personal level we would love to have at least 2 more "dustbin lids" flying around the house!!

Workwise is more difficult as I am very pigeon holed in terms of I earn decent money doing what I do and dont need to devote all my time to do it, hence the time able to browse on here etc whilst still negging deals but I have a small business idea we would like to start whilst also pushing/developing Petra's budding Photography of newborns/families/pets from home/location but that is where the gamble is!!
Obv not being a gambly type person  Tongue the circumstances have to be right to enable me to give that a go.

Poker I think my level of thinking has developed loads over the past year due to here/you/talking to better players etc etc but ultimately it is and only ever will be able to be a hobby I can nick a few quid at occasionally due to age  Wink/commitments in terms of family/our property portfolio etc.
However as I said to you at the end of last year the first 1/2 this yr was likely to be manic and was and I have played no volume of anything but the light is towards the end of the tunnel and I can see myself griniding some hands online in spare time to enable hopefully the chance to freeroll into the events I would like to play regularly if that makes sense?

Eg last night Petra was out so I fired up 2 tables of ss 6m cash and played winning 2bi's in just over 1 hour just value betting well and flopping quads twice which helps  Wink and would like to grind this way for a while as never used a HUD or HEM just feel/game flow so want to step up from there.

Good Q BITB   how about you?
