Well for those that don't know this and for Max's benefit incase he ever read it this weekend just gone I won approximately this...

http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/5374/carkb.jpg[/img]]

unfortunately/fortunately whichever way you look at it only this much was mine...

http://img33.imageshack.us/img33/6338/mybit.jpg[/img]]

and after Petra has taken however much she decides to take I will probs end up with an entry to the next one but it's all good really.

The weekend was great driving up late after work and late regging which is not something I normally do before playing pretty average on my first entry and then 5betting QKhh and having to sigh it off getting over 5/1 and binking the river to give me a nice playable stack and from then on I chipped up really well by putting pressure on people and being aggro in good spots.

Then on the Saturday it was the blonde bash and despite only 5 hours sleep made it for the breakfast and got on the beers with Milligan/Little Miss C and the Herberts amongst others and we playign 2 games of bowling across the road with your's truly winning the first game and then as Millidonk had the hump bowled him to a decent score in the second before heading to DTD for the Bash tourney.

I was the lucky recipient of a golden chip meaning if I was one of the last 5 holding them irrespective of where we finished I would get to play Rob/Simon heads up for £1000 in tourney entries and after an early double through and owning Dan (his words) was in a healthy position with 8 chips left and about 25 players overall and then took out the unfotunate bubble boy of the GC's when I outdrew IgotSkills (top fella) when he was a touch short on chips and we locked up a match with Rob at a date to be confirmed.

I then virtual bubbled the event with 13 left losing a race to the eventual winner when my AKo could not outrun his 44 and jammed my last6 bigs with 68hh losing to Newportlads A10 but I can report the Peroni was good and we headed back to the hotel at about 1.30am for a good sleep in readiness for the Sunday..

Sunday was really good and I had a decent table draw and some passive players but played a pot with 3 left before the bubble where I basically 3b pre, 1/2 pot cbet the flop, 2/3 pot bet the turn when checked to again and after the villain who I had some history with donked the river small leaving me just enough wiggle room to jam on him with air, got it through which gave us a lot of confidence and also another 200k to play with.

I am honest enough to know that I got some great cards on day 2 and some unbelievable spots ie where utg raises pre, lady 3b's all in for 10bigs, sb jams all in for 13 bigs and we find "dem aces" and scoop vs AK and QK and also had the "Eso Spew" we got into a raising war with Dan Owston in late pos and ended up sighing it off with  vs his "Beltons"  and despite a dream turn didnt get there.  Then we chipped back up before losing 2 pots vs shorties to be short going into the last 9 players.

I never worry about having 20-25 bigs late on as once you get a double through you are always back in the game and after Jon played out a dream hand for him vs Tommy B and A.Tuxworth I really felt if I could get the double through we had a good shot on the live stream final.

This happened vs Glen and from that point with cards and without I think I played really good solid aggressive poker and was only playing FTW in fact if it had been anyone other than Jon in the last 2 then I would have played it out.

The hands I enjoyed the most were the  hand otb vs Jon and also the flopped house vs him but it was a dream final for me and the money will really come in handy as the Chinese need paying  Petra is already working out the other bits of modernisation we can do in the house and top of her list currently is installing a downstairs wc under the stairs.

Whilst I was away she also booked for us to go to Malta in September as we are taking my Mum for her 60th birthday and we can catch up with all the relly's over there allof whom have not seen Max yet so it will be a nice break for all.

Thx for all the rails and text's over the weekend it means a lot and was pretty surreal driving home with a nice "Gregory" in your pocket and funnily you are never tired on the 2 1/2 hour drive home after a win as you are buzzing and playing hands over in your mind again, it was good to see the wee man as he woke up and despite being knackered was in the office at 8am and unlike Jon my chq was deposited at 9.30 when the bank opened!!

I won £11'000 in the £150 @ DTD after an ICM chip count with fellow blonde and live updater Jon Gill and both binks were staked binks hence only half of it coming my way.

Well I have had worse weeks!!

The housing market is still pretty tough and buyers definitely dont mind pulling out of a deal at the drop of a hat and buyer activity is lighter than you would expect so keeping the vendors updated is key to keeping them happy!!

Punting wise this week I have had 3 bets not inc today

I backed Portugal to beat Denmark and got lucky
then

After reading "tips for tikay" thread I backed a golfer in the US open @ 11/8 to win his 3 ball with the profits from bet 1 which returned £237.5
and then y/day

Stuck the whole lot on a double with N.Colsearts to win his 3ball in the US open and England DNB in the footie to return £890.63 which is all profit.

Lol today VC restrict me to £10 ew on a horse that Camel mentioned but let me put a couple of hundo on Russia which I fancy tonight.

I am on 2 horses in a maiden today at donny but it is a speculative punt more than anything just on a race I watched last time

I fancy the outsider of the two more and am on

£66 ew  TWO PANCAKES @ 16/1

£49 ew OFF ART @ 12/1  in the 3.00 @ Donny both with VC

I watched their debut when I was given a horse called Tha'ir which scooted up at 6/1next time out and imo Two pancakes ran the better race in 3rd and although this is a better race am on at the prices.

Happy Fathers Day to all the pops out there!!

After i have finished my painting duties I shall be visiting my Dad's resting place to lay some flowers with Max and Petra.

Well I was winning on the Euros until the past week when I punted

£200 on Holland to beat Portugal

£100 on Russia to beat Greece

£100 double on Spain to beat Croatia and France to beat Sweden

2 x £150 bets on dog tips given

GG all of them which put me back to level for the tournament and over the first 2 days of Royal Ascot had invested £100 on placepots and not placed a single bet as am at work so a sweat on Placepots was enough but had no draw until....

Yesterday when this happened

http://img692.imageshack.us/img692/5257/placepot.jpg[/img]]

and we scooped 80pence of the placepot which returned to us £1204.64 for an outlay of £28.80 but we had a couple of losing lines having laid out £45 on them at the start of the day, I love a placepot at the big meetings and normally cop 3-4 a year like this one.

Buoyed with confidence and having read a post Stuart (Redarmi) put on Tikays thread we invested £150 on this..

For a further £595 return and an overall profit on the day of £1604.64!!   Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

Whilst were on the thin stuff I am also currently leading the royal Ascot tipsters comp although there is still 2 days to go!!

Obv it's not all good as work is pretty shocking and we have not sold a house for 10 days now so hopefully this weekend will change that.
