~Wife justy rung me, he first day back working for 5 years and back to estate agency after a 10 yer break. The job she loves, they have some mental commision stuff for all staff, £30 for getting a valuation, £50 for someone chatting with morgage guy etc..is that standard incentives?
Yeah all fairly standard stuff nowadays our sales guys get

5% commission on whatever they sell   (5% of the sales fee we charge the client which is on average £4250)

5% if they put the house on the market in the first place

£50 if they refer a valuation to another office and that subsequently sells

£25 for a solicitors referal

£75 for a mortgage referal that turns into a mortgage sign up

In our office I would expect the juniors to earn £17-£20k at 18 and top sales negs to earn £25-£30k

It goes without saying obv GLGLGL to the wife!!

These are some recent photo shoots that Petra has done for her business and despite being 8months pregnant she is still doing shoots for clients before finishing this week.

ahh thanks,  I guess your referral fee's a little better then hers. Her first week was interesting, its an Award winning firm (nationally) and yet wife says half the staff don't give a jott and don't push for referrals. Hasten to say wife got more then the rest of the office on day 1. Nothing better then someone motivated by money and knowing their stuff. She says houses selling really well at near asking price (they have houses from 200k to 2m on their books).

Been thinking about my goals/hopes for 2013 and obv life is gonna change again with our 2nd baby being due in the middle of March which is going to mean less travelling for poker events as we dont have a massive family network to help Petra out so I will be very selective in the events I play and will play more locally but am not interested in the local donkaments and am going to switch direction to online and live cash so here are my goals and again I shall review them honestly come 2014

  • Cash and have a deep run in a UKIPT - I have played 5 of these (obv miniscule sample but have only made day2 once) and although I may only play 3-4 UKIPT's this year I am gonna try v v hard
  • Post more on PHA - to develop my game but also situations that are bound to occur in the games I shall be playing, I was always worried of flaming in PHA but posted itt this week first in and Cambridge Alex and Tommy Langley both agreed which gives confidence to post more
  • Train 3 x week for 8 months of 2013 - as last year I only trained when I needed to and although in half decent shape for St.Kitts really want to get my body fat% down as for me it's about look as opposed to weight *further update to follow
  • Satelite into a foreign event ie a Unibet or St.Kitts style event
  • Play online at John Black stakes of /10c & 10c/25c and at the end of 6months review total hands played and overall stats before seeking some coaching based on volume which will help with the next goal
  • Become a decent winner in the local £1/1 cash game in Southend as on the few occasions I am there and have played have always done well (in before variance) and there is not a Reggy feel to the games so in theory this should be good for me
  • Be in Prague at the end of 2013 with Team Eureka and use it as a family holiday so Petra and the kids can be in Slovakia with the in-laws and I can dot back and forth
  • Most importantly to be a good Husband and Dad to my amazing family in 2013

So that's me for 2013  GL me again!!
[/list]
First tick of the year at the second attempt after making a day2 at Edinburgh but need a really deep run now at something!!

Will come onto the bad over the weekend as per previous post
