WP on binking the seats. Good work on the pics too.

Obviously its time for the run good to happen, but do you mind holding off as I'm now in seat 7 on your table!
Haha Thanks Jonny I have only just seen this.

Out of interest what did you have the hand where I 3b your EP open and you CR the flop on K23rb?

Had a pretty decent weekend all in all even though we didnt win the deepstack   (will do a TR for investors after the weekend)  which started with picking up Vinny and heading up north and after we had dropped off his GF at school work it was a quick journey as he constantly rubbed me down over losing £28k  Sad

We arrived in plenty of time to place £7 on 3 horses in the national which is one day in the calendar that I dislike as most of my real life friends and family know i like a punt so most of the morning is taken up replying to texts and taking the odd call on what they should be backing, if only they knew I cannot pick my nose at the moment!!

Headed straight over to Vinny's second home Nando's and snap got a table for us, Scotty77, Leatherman and the late arriving JB (<3 JB) and ordered my standard Medium Livers with 2 sides of Chips and a salad along with a beer (ask for the glass but dont pour the beer in and you have a free soft drink as well) and being as Vin had already lost the CCR it would be rude not to get some pre-match olives as well.

Ran pretty bad in the table draw as had Boshi (that was the good part  Wink ) Ben Vinson, John Black and eventually Nick Hicks and after chipping up against the guy who was destined to spew to someone I got rivered twice by Ben being taken to the town of Value on both occasions  Sad which then left me short in the middle levels eventually shipping the river with AK on A87 2Q losing to a set of 8's should really fold the turn as I went against my read on a guy.

Not that many people will remember but at the Blonde Bash last year there were some golden chips with the last 5 chips getting the opportunity to play either Simon or Rob Yong heads up for £1000 in DTD tourney credits and till this time I have not been able to hook up with Rob and he is the one you want to beat heads up so we sat down on the feature table and played with SS of 10k on a 15min clock and as we had not played despite arranging it a couple of times he very kindly said that if I best him he would enter me for the Monte Carlo (obv was playing anyway as sold %'s already but extra £100 wiiii)

To be honest any monkey who could have held/looked at the cards and was able to flick in the chips with gay abandon would have won as we had the best hand sooooo much which apparently is quite a good thing HU and opening the first button with A9hh and flopping 2 hearts with Rob calling the cbet followed by  chk chk when the heart came I was sure he leads the river which he did for 1500 and a small CR and he folded but we were ahead in the game.

We won the next big hand and were 16k vs 4k in about 5mins and then after raising the btn he 3b and we shipped A2o as one of our shots to win but he held AQ and held and we were back to 12k/8k but won the next pot when he told me after 3b'ing my btn again that he would barrel 3 streets and we held A5cc and flopped 753 so we peeled one, turned an "A" and he true to his word barrelled again and we flatted before he bet the river small on a blank and we raised and he dwell called with second pair and he was back to 4k.

Running well 2 hands later I open 9/10o from the btn and flop    (yh I know) and he CR me leaving 2k so I set him in and he turns over K3cc and the dealer starts to stack the chips and send them my way before we both tell him to finish the run out as obv he is never folding but we run good turning   to hold and win the seat  Wink

Just after I won Vinny got knocked out so we made a second visit of the day to Nando's before heading home.

Getting back in at 1.30 and Maxwell awake at 7 meant we had the standard 5 1/2 hours and it was decided by Petra and her folks who are still here that we would go to church so having got everyone ready we walked up the road to the Catholic church as all Petra's family are Catholic and whilst I am Church of England we always agreed to bring up the children under the Catholic faith which also enabled us to get married in Slovakia at Petra's local church or Kostal as they say over there.

The service was nice and Maxwell was brilliant with not a peep and it is a real family orientated church and area, whilst in Church it gives me a massive amount of time to reflect and whilst I am not a deeply religious person there is something very calming about being in church.

The rest of the day was spent watching Southend get stuffed at Wembley, 80 mins of the QPR match (run bad missing the goals) and the Leeds Rhinos beat Warrington and am now gonna watch the final of the deepstack on the stream and hope it is me sat there playing in 2 weeks time for the MC....

Feel your pain.  I did 4 hours this morning - it was a belayed tribute to Thatcher.  Fresh on and raring to go at 6:45pm though.  Strange.  Maybe I could run the Country?

Well the Slovak outlaws have gone home now so it's just been the four of us which means despite having 2 kids at 2 and under the house has been pretty quiet as the Slovak's are pretty loud and as their language is pretty harsh it can come across as agressive even in a normal conversation.

Ran good this week by shipping 2 tokens for the MC Satty's and would have played live as think there will be less runners but dont want to use up all my "visiting passes" so the satty online will do, also had a bet in midweek having studied the bookings index and ref in the Juve v Bayern match betting 5/4 under 45pts so was peturbed to see 2 cards in 14 mins with Dubai telling me the Spreads were then 72-75 but held with no further bookings to book a small win.

Didnt have a bet on the masters but backed both Rosberg and Hamilton to pole both at 5/1 yesterday long with Massa podium finish so will be a small loser on F1 this weekend if Massa is not in the top 3.

Really looking forward to next weekend and the MC now and hope to first of all run ok in the table draw before a hopefull deep run but we shall see...

If I remember correctly, I may well have had a middle pair, I think it was 10's. I've been meaning to get on here for a while, I thought you'd be interested! What did you have? I had a read feeling that you may have had a pair yourself Jack's, maybe 9's, and weren't enjoying the King high board.

Did you see my hand with Vinson?

And everytime I see you, you're playing or deep in conversation, a proper introduction is still necessary! Especially as I'm now in the market for a first house...
