Today has been the most pleasing day for me. Large climb to start to get back onto the moors and from there it is head down dig in tabbing. Difficult to keep the head down when almost every turn brings another view to take your breath away.

A very tiring day ended at the lion inn. 2.50 to bivvi up in their garden but importantly full access to all ameneties including shower. Dinner done as per the pics and I had to have some spotted dick and custard to finish. I reckon 30 miles left which could be done in 2 days but no hurry.  Geo

The lion inn here is a huge place even better are the huge portions being served up at very reasonable prices. There are many walks that are covered by the inn here. I can see me being a frequent visitor.  Geo
