Added McMichael first CHARGER touchdown at 40/1 (Ladbrokes)
Just as an aside....just how bad an odds compiler do you have to be to come up with that price???

Where do you guys go for your touchdown/player stats? atm I've looked at Pro Football Reference but the UI is terrible.

I use NFL.com....it isn't ideal but I have written a very basic spreadsheet that gives me probabilities if I enter expected run/pass ratios and first team to score TD %'s. You can get enough from any stats site though surely? what you looking for?

I have no idea what a run/pass ratio is (I don't follow NFL)! Was basically just looking for player logs (see their recent touchdown scoring form) and being able to see their team touchdown record easily. ESPN seems ok for it.

I honestly can't think of a Tight End in the league that i wouldn't bet at 40/1 to score first TD for their team when their team were a fave to win the game.

nfl.com, click the players link and search out by team, position, name. You can get to a game by game log of their entire careers.

Jarett Dillard starting at WR for Jags, so we've gone in on him to be 1st Jags TD at 12/1. Can get 20/1 1st TD if you fancy that tho.

Having watched and loved NFL for 25 years I have finally decided to try and use my knowledge to make some money. The good thing with the NFL is all the info you need is there if you can be bothered to trawl stats etc..making for some fairly accurate predicts ( hopefully ) was +£900 from a £150 stake last week and +£250 from £50 week before so either I have beginners luck or I might have stumbled upon something I have half a chance of doing well at..my +2.5 football bets are tez lol.
Usually do Acca's and pickems with the odd first TD and spread etc...like to IR as well nice result with GB last week when NY took the early lead and I lumped a load on GB..same the week before with NE going down 10-0 early to philly... so im 15/16 on accas last 2 weeks so some of my watered down thoughts for the early game...Not the hardest to call TBH Time to crash & burn..
Cleveland v Pittsburgh
With Pittsburgh’s rout of the Bengals last week and Cleveland’s misfiring offense one of the worst in the league you can’t see Colt McCoy & the Browns getting much change out of Troy Polamalu and his defensive Corps. Bizarrely Cleveland have the best pass defense and the worst run defense in the league which gives a slightly skewed look to their 8th best defense in the league ranking, so expect a strong dose of Pittsburgh Running backs Medenhall & Redman. Big Ben played well last week despite an injury to his thumb and at home Pittsburgh should have way too much for the Browns as they chase down the Ravens for the division title. Medenhall for the first TD & the Steelers by 10 although they could easily put in a +12 score..Hopefully Cleveland can take an early lead so we can get a half decent price IR on Steelers
