I know very little but I'm up for joining it next year, would ensure you have someone to prop up the table if nothing else Smiley

Read an article on the Eagles website talking about the 2012 schedule.  NFC East schedule is ugly next year.

NFC East rotation next season has games vs the AFC North (Ravens, Steelers, Bengals, Browns) and NFC South (Saints, Falcons, Panthers, Bucs).  Definitely the best AFC division and arguably the toughest NFC division too (North also brutal, in fairness).

Additionally, finishing 2nd this season means we also now play the other 2nd placed NFC teams - hello Lions and Cardinals.

The only good news is that the Giants have it even worse, as they'll play the Packers and 49ers instead!

Given that the division is normally fairly evenly matched then, with those matchups, it looks fairly unlikely that there'll be a wildcard team coming out of the NFC East next year either, giving teams like the Lions, Falcons, Panthers and Bears a bit of added value in the long-term markets for next year.

this is all true

Dallas ended up 3rd, and gets Chicago (home) and Seattle (away) in its rotation..both tough matches as well as trips to Baltimore and Cincy

Brutal stuff, even before we choke for the fifth year running

8 teams finish the season 8-8

i understand how they they work tied teams for the playoffs but how will they decide the draft order of 8 teams over both conferences.

the team with the weakest schedule in 2011 (based on its opponents combined win-loss records) is placed top of the tied teams for draft position

everyone then shifts down one spot in round 2 then round 3 etc

So, Dallas picks 14th. It had the second weakest combined opponents of the 8-8 teams in 11

It then picks 15th in the second round, 16th in the third round etc
