Jets-Broncos agreed to Tim Tebow trade before Denver asked NY to pay back portion of bonuses and salary already paid to Tebow. No deal yet.

Tebow's contract has a trade poison pill in it, up to $5m

Jets don't want to pay it, Broncos say they have to

I suspect the Broncos cave

The timing of the trade is curious.

Two weeks ago, the Jets gave Sanchez a three-year, $40.5 million contract extension, professing their faith in him even though he regressed in certain areas last season. They signed former Detroit Lions backup Drew Stanton last week to be their No. 2 quarterback, handing him a $500,000 signing bonus. They also have former Alabama star Greg McElroy.

I read an article recently that said the Sanchez deal was basically a restructure that primarily freed up cap space without giving him significantly more money year-on-year, so perhaps the way it was announced at the time was more of a PR spin than a commitment to Sanchez over the long-term.

lol Cleveland have picks 4 and 22 in the draft to be able to get two good offensive players.

Lets see how they manage to cock this one up.

Any opinions on Stanford tight end Coby Fleener in the draft?

It's not meant to be a great TE Class

Yet after the successes of Gronk and others the position (for pass catching big bodies) is very much in vogue

Fleener is expected to be drafted in the back end of the first round, basically anywhere from Chicago to the Giants

He is (and I am only going off scouting and you tube) a pass catching/stretch the field type.

As with Gronk, Vernon Davis etc he's 6-6 and quick so a nightmare for safteties and linebackers to cover

It's not just me then!

Really annoyed though as I'm in Vegas from 16-25 April and was planning to get one shipped to me while there, but they're not going on sale until the draft on 26th April!
