blonde Poker updated the first English Deepstack at Luton in April, which was won by Amy Trodd

and would like to thank the organisers, D 4 events for sponsoring us to provide this update

The event is notable for a 50,000 starting stack and a 60 minute clock..

Last time round, this didn't stop exits in Level 1!

The Broadway Casino Birmingham

A place with many associations for me

In January 2006 it hosted the first blonde bash

In September 2006 the first ever APAT event

Since then its expanded its poker capacity, and remains one of the most opulent British Casinos, in a building that started off life as a Children's hospital

We have around 160 pre-regged already over the 2 days and the casino is getting  lot of calls this morning. Anyone planning on coming down who has not reserved a seat will get in no problem as long as they are here on time. Late registration is available for 4 levels and even if we fill up enough should bust to cover any requirements.

I would expect Day 1B to be the busiest. The casino can take registrations over the phone for anyone wanting to make doubly sure they get a seat.

Does that mean buyin over the phone? Would rather not do that, but don't wanna travel down there 2mora and find it's sold out.

Not entirely true........... I believe Tom W and Mitch are currently 'looking after' some of Alex's funds.

So, The Broadway Casino

71 runners in so far today, with late entry for 4 levels and re-entries into tomorrow.

Spotted so far Simon Deadman, Andrew Hulme, Raj Dhiri, Andrew Psaras. It's like a field trip from Nottingham way, and that includes many of the dealers...

A reminder we start at 1pm, playing 11 1 hour levels iirc

slight problem, hence the delay

Wifi failure at the venue, so until then I have borrowed a cable to hook up to the live stream's connection

No photos though until either a) a break, so I don't cause lag on the stream or b) they fix the wifi or c) I move outside to get a dongle connection

We're up to 87 runners, and unsurprisingly no exits...
