If there's no reserve team then better still - no chance of any games.
I'd make him train away from the first team, either with the Academy or solo.
Do the youngsters still have to clean boots, etc these days? If so, he'd be doing that too as part of the Academy squad. When they're in classes I'd
chuck him in a classroom too with an English tutor to make him do what he should have done years ago.
Very much this TBH, that he still doesn't speak English is nothing short of ridiculous.
Even I've made an attempt FFS.

Just let him rot in the reserves imo, the wages are the equivalent of a big mac to the owners so would be com if they took the hit and ended his career that way.
This, and if there isn't a reserve team then make a one to spite him with bus trips to Scotland/London, basically the longest one's possible every weekend to play Sunday league teams. Never sacking him, that's what he wants. Make an example of him to the other players so they see what will happen if they try the same sort of tricks.

Can he really not speak English or could he just not be bothered? Pretty ridic after 5 years.
Cant sack him btw - its losing out on £20m that teams will still pay for him.

He can't as he's never bothered learning the language..He doesn't think it's required unless he settles down in England and he never had that intention.

Obv they don't care about the £20m, I wouldn't sack him because it means a team will give him more money.

my point about european and prem clubs chipping in (i appreciate they dont need to), is to make a massive statement that no footballer is bigger than the game.
They should all agree that no one will buy him, that they will publicly humiliate him as "one of the best talents in the game" is left to rot in the reserves.
I appreciate that this will never happen. It would also be nice to have the opposition reserve teams kick seven colours of shit out of him every game!
The fat little fuck needs to be shown in no uncertain terms that his actions (and anyone else who chooses to act this way), are simply unaccepable, and he should just be cut free from the game. What an absolute prick he is. He probably comes from some poor under privalaged background in Argentina, and now look at him! He is a disgrace, simple as that.

What they should do is get Ballotelli to follow him round chucking ice cubes at him and they post the highlights on you tube.

Have everyone pay £1 to watch that vid, they would make more money than by selling him. I'd watch that.

so he's been suspended for 2 weeks for refusing to play. that's like when you used to get suspended from school for bunking off, not really a punishment, more of an encouragement

Pending an investigation though. Right? Further action could be taken post investigation.

Totally this. I would make him do community work every day, maybe going into the schools of Longsight and Moss Side or something.

Put him on the bench every game. "Warm up son" every 10 minute intervals. Never gets on.

Don't like any of these suggestions for paying him 200k a week and him not even playing, no matter how embarrassing it is.
I'd try and sue the little prick, surely the fact he refused to play when given an opportunity can be pounced upon by a big shot lawyer?
