Everyone knows the situation; but I've had enough of waiting on news, fingers crossed that the investment goes through, and i see my money again.

I was lucky/unlucky enough to have a little heater just before the license got revoked, so my balance is quite substancial (to me).

It's my money, i earned it, I want it back. If it was a couple of hundred, or even a couple of thousand, i would probably hold out to see what develops, but unfortunately, it's not.

A lot of you may have seen this posted from the AGCC:

On-going concerns of Full Tilt’s registered players.
At the request of the police, AGCC will continue to log incoming player complaints: these records will
be made available to the police. However, following the revocation of the licences, AGCC no longer has
authority to intermediate or arbitrate on player issues or disputes with Full Tilt (excepting for players
registered under a Swiss address).
Players may have the following alternative options:-
1. Full Tilt has been requested to provide a specific player contact: this is awaited and will be
incorporated here upon receipt.
2. Any player who believes they are a victim of crime, as a result of their dealings with Full Tilt, should in
the first instance contact their own local police in their country of residence and report the matter to
them.
These reports will then be co-ordinated centrally.
3. It is understood that a number of civil actions have been initiated by players against Full Tilt, some as
class actions representing multiple players by UK, US and Canadian lawyers. Details of the firms
concerned can be found through internet search.

I'm not too sure what (1.) even means. We will get a contact number? I'm not sure what that would achieve.

(2.) Has anybody out there done this? Realistically can this achieve anything? How did you go about doing it?

(3.) Is there a Class action filed for UK players? I couldn't find anything on it, only ones for Canadians, and U.S. players? If not, why not?

Are there any other UK players out there that have lots of their money tied up and have had enough?

I plan on doing all I can to get MY money back, maybe trying to get national media involved too.

If you're interested too, or have any advice/details on the situation for UK players, post in this thread please.

What will getting the national media involved do?

BBC have ran the story a number of times since Black Friday. I'm worried about the investment deal not going through, and then it all being forgotten about.

The U.S. Government will probably pocket the seized funds (however much of the $400m they can get their hands on), and it will all be forgotten about in 2 months.

The power of the media is immense, and using that to keep the pressure on would give us a greater chance of getting our money back.

Is there a Class Action Lawsuit for UK players being filed?

Well this is not going to happen since so many people have decent money stuck on there.

Well hopefully not, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who had money in UB/AP too, and there isn't much talked about them anymore!

All I want to do is get advice from anyone who has spoken to police/authorities about this, and look about doing something myself.

If there are any others out there who are fed up of hoping they get some money back if this or that happens, then let me know.

I want to make some noise about it, to stand us in the best chances of getting the funds back where they belong.

Along similiar lines, but obv not exactly the same, I had money with crown currency exchange when they went tits up.

There is an action group formed by someone of which i am a member, It has been over a year now, after going through the police, it has been through the courts and none of us have had a penny back... we supposedly won as well but over costs get priority over people whose actual money was lost. They are only just mentioning now that a few people might see some of their money.

Whatever route it will be a long drawn out process. The media were involved for like 2 weeks then obv got bored..

[  ] I have any hope of seeing any of my money again.

I have often thought of what I would do

I think a group of players with Many $ stuck should get together a take legal action  - not sure why it hasnt happened already

Get the feelers out - get yourself(s) to the front of the queue

Who are the national media going to pressurise? I'm not sure the Americans will be that fussed at what our media think...

On that note have you thought about going to your MP? Maybe they could raise a question or something.

This I am afraid.  I only had a couple of hundred with FTP but when the US passed the UIGEA bill and this caused a number of US facing sportsbooks to go tits up I had significant balances with a few of them.  The best result I had out of them was on the $ and this came through this year....so five years later.

do people really think they will get their money back off the investor if it does go through? I reckon i'd be lucky to get back the 500 or so ftp points i had on there.

I can't beleive they can't get investors to step in, if the site was run financially soundly its just a money factory, maybe they think the name is too sullied - but people still played on UB.
