I gave it to Condit, but close enough there's no controversy.

Who you got this weekend?

Main event I'm going for TJ. Cruz has been impressive since his return, but I feel like TJ's got such momentum and self belief, especially since the move to the new team, he's going to have the edge.

The co-main is a belter. Pettis is coming off a loss to RDA after a dominant run and I expect him to get back in the W column against Alverez. Could be a war though.

Travis Browne's only fight last year was a shock loss to a resurgent Andre Arlovski. Mitrione also only fight once, losing to Ben Rothwell. Two really dangerous heavyweights looking to get the year off to a winnin start. I prefer Browne of the two men, but I'm leaning towards a Mitrione win.

Would love to see Ross Pearson beat Francis Trinaldo, but I fear it'll go the Brazilian's way.

I like Saunders to beat Cote, but that's a close match up, and I like Boetch to destroy Herman.

No strong feelings on the rest of the card.

I hope Cruz wins, because I think TJ is a penis.

I remember seeing him and Buccholz on some podcast, and thought they both came across as massive idiots.

Don't know much of this Alvarez, but love Pettis, so hope he does the business.

I'd prefer Mitrione to win, but think Browne will prevail.

Presume Browne was cleared of beating his mrs up, who is one of the octagon girls iirc?

Don't think his mrs was an Octagon girl though I could be wrong.

Nah, she wasn't.

I was getting mixed up with Brittney Palmer, who was the other girl they spoke about on Rogan's podcast at the same time.

Anyone who has not seen these videos on Cruz yet, they are well worth a watch. Mainly about his footwork:

Cheers, Stu.

I'll have a look at those when the NFL is over.

I've dabbled with a bit of writing in the past, on a range of subjects. At one time I started doing write ups on historic events on an MMA forum which got a decent following but life got in the way and I stopped.

I've decided to restart a project I once embarked on, which was to re watch all UFC, Pride, WEC, etc events in order and blog my thoughts as I did so.

Grateful of any subscribers on www.facebook.com/mmaflashback and any readers of www.mmaflashback.com

All feedback welcome as we go, and any other subscribers you can help me pick up.

That's nice of you to say.
Bit out of practice, but hopefully I'll get warmed up.
Half way through UFC 4 now.
Get distracted by pesky current MMA getting in the way Smiley

FFS!

I haven't got any time to get caught up reading lots of MMA stuff atm Sad

I've not read any yet, but I know you write well, just from reading your posts on Blonde.

Please get busy yourself, and then get stuck back into it in about 6 weeks, when I'm back from holiday Smiley

I try to keep it to 1000-1500 words, and though I'd like content to go out weekly, work, family, gigging with the bands and current MMA events all get in the way, so 1-2 posts a month max for now.

Good stuff Smiley

I'll try and squeeze the ones you've done in before I go away, and then should be up to speed when I get back.

You watching them on Fightpass Adam?

Anyone know if Silva/Bisping is on BT Sport or just on Fightpass?
