Decided to exclude from the other thread cos I genuinely want advice on this hand - preflop dynamics in nl holdem are definatley my weakest area.
$25/$50 ($100 BB ante)
4 Handed.
I open

UTG to $175 playing $6,600.
Folds to Eric Lieu in the BB who makes it $600 (covering me)
Wanted to discuss the merits of i) Folding, ii) Calling, iii) 4Bet Folding, iv) 4Bet Calling.
We've played quite a bit together and my image is always quite tight preflop in NLHE - as in I dont really open not good hands, he 100% thinks I'm capable of 4betting "light" but is defo knows that I have tighter opening ranges than most people, even 4 handed. We have had a few 4bets between us this is only the second time i 4bet him and he folded the first time (that was a cold 4bet tho), and I 5bet jammed once Btn vs CO and he folded.
I just lost a brutal $30k pot an orbit ago so he might think i'm slightly tilted, but doubt that will play too much on his decision. The way he's played this session would indicate he is pretty respectful of my game.
