There's a live stream on the GUKPT site, which is 98.5% consisting of watching Neil Channing tweeting.
he is very funny tho. what blogging for the tours are we intending doing in the new year please tighty?

Not an easy question

At the moment I am not really looking beyond trying to fund the Monte Carlo in a few weeks and then the January deepstack

but

assuming

1. Funding (currently due to the genorosity of donations)

2. Permission from the venues

3 Schedules (events may clash eg DTD, Genting and we don't know the look of the 2012 GUKPT yet)

My list in order of prioirties would be

1 DTD Monte Carlos and Deepstacks. Possibly include Grand Prix too

2 UKIPT

3 GUKPT

4 Genting

5 Others

In practice, with Genting doing their own blogging and permission being an issue at UKIPTs I would think we'd be doing well to do DTDs and one other tour, but that is entirely down to being able to afford it, as ever

Huh??  From the official Blog late on yesterday...

Are Kings No Good??

Lee Taylor makes it 2100 to play from the cutoff, Daniel Laming three bets from the small blind to 5100, Tamer Kamel then thinks for a while in the big blind before four-betting to 12,000. Lee quickly gets out of the way.

Action comes back to Daniel who moves all in for 40,100 more (52,100 total).

Tamer goes DEEP into the tank...... counting his stack and it would leave him with 20,000 if he was to make the call.... He checks his cards again, still in the tank for another few minutes...

He then says "I'm going to live to fight another day" and folds pocket KINGS face up!! The rest of the table are pretty gobsmacked as was I.

Daniel happily takes the pot with a grin and shows 1 Queen.

Yes saw this morning but also saw that a kid won the main event Luton besting 37 runners. My head is a shed with wtf I'm gonna play in 2012 with all these domestic tours. Only real loyalty I have are to Dtd, blackbelt and blonde so been getting a bit of advice off messers yong, channing and  god knows how the elite plan out their year with ept, wpt 6 weeks wsop and various other tournies that they have commitment to Sad
