Port Vale are at home to Torquay and I really fancy the Gulls to win.
Vale have lost 4 of their last 5 (drew the other) and haven't scored in their last 4. Torquay by contrast have come out of a sticky patch and show some real form as of late, winning their last 5, 4-0, 2-0, 0-3, 1-3 (away at league one Chesterfield in the FA cup) and 3-1.
On top of all that, Micky Adams is having a real hard time of it at the moment with the fans on his back and an injury hit squad:
"If we hadn't have done anything we would have been down to the bare bones," said Adams. "Jennison has pace and can play from either flank, while Guy is a strong centre-forward who links up play well.
"Graham Westley, the Stevenage manager, recommended them, so I'd like to thank him.
"All three are hungry players with a point to prove, and the fact they have experience can't be a bad thing. Shane has played in the Championship."
News of the signings came as Adams, right, declared he was the best man to halt Vale's recent decline ... and banned his players from having days off until the slump had been arrested.
He said: "Some players are lacking respect for their profession. Until I see a response or we get a result, these players are in for a hard time."
Fancy Torquay to win at 21/10, Torquay - 1 at 11/2 and Torquay -2 at 14s.
If any of you have your own best bets for the weekend post 'em up!
