Claim away Monkey. At this point in time I'll just have to take your word for it, as no results were emailed out last night. Anyone going today? Ask them to send on please? Ta.

An incredible effort from one of Luton's finest in the DTD monthly £500. So near yet so far for one of the G's stronger players, a popular guy with a winning personality. Yup, unlucky Kenny Prazar, maybe next time...
Nah, only joking, it was a deserved deep run for one of the G's more likeable characters, a player with a big future. Yup, unlucky Len Overall, but you'll have your day in the sun. Have faith.
No idea what to make of the results what came through. One was dated Wednesday 8/1 and was won by pretty boy Martin. Don't know if it's the right result but nobody picked TFOP, nor Gary Barnes (second), nor David Twirl (fourth), so not points gone a begging anyhoo.
Nobody picked George Michael, who finished fifth in the £5 rebuy either.
I'm guessing the 8pm £50er didn't run? George, would it not make sense to switch the 15lb turbot to Sunday night and have the £50er on Monday night? At the moment, it seems you've got pretty much the same comp running twice on the same day, four hours apart.

As for Saturday, nothing doing in the afternooner but 66 turned up for the evening jobbie and three fantasites made the cash.
I can now confirm that Pokerdonkey did indeed finish ninth for 5pts, with Toni Coe fourth (10pts) and Jim kicking off a good weekend for the McBink boys (older, greyer brother Alan took a slice of Oi Oi Dubai's action in Ireland (as did GIQ Plumsy)) by coming home second (15pts).

* = paid
Latest standings
Anthony Kendall 59
Dean Morris 53
------------------------
Paul Noonan 48
Gavin Kan * 36
Ady Lovelock 34
Ryan Spittles * 33
Edna Adams * 31
Alex Riccardi-Warren 30
Darren Alien 21
Ed Overall 21
Dave Johnson 21
Julian Lefevre 15
Graham Wheldon * 6
-----------------------
Bharat Joshi 0
Unfortunately Jim's McBinkage means that Sir Donksalot moves into second spot in the standings. I haven't seen him this excited since he found "We're going to Disney World" spelled out using fridge magnets. Like in the advert.

By the way, I'm sure some of you will be shocked and appalled to hear that I
still
haven't received my trophy for winning the league. The classy thing would be to hand it over this week imo. Make a special trip to the G if needs be.
Anyone without a * next to their name in the table above is still to cough up the £50 required**. Dubai backers have no excuses ta.
** One TV celeb has, one hasn't. Just saying.

Nah. Unlike yourself, Nirvana was honoured with an apprearance in the official Blonde 2011 Advent Calendar. That disqualifies him from further awards.

Ahh, now I see. Was that the one that run the full duration, or the one which stopped at 5 Entries?

Dear George.
I feel as though I must complain about one of your new dealers tonight.
During one hand very late on in the tourney he started dealing and yet one player still had his cards from the previous hand.
Then a short while later (say 15 mins) the same dealer dealt the flop WITHOUT any hole cards.
I haven't seen that since KEMPYGATE GUKPT a couple of years ago.
I really do find it bizarre that the card room employs such amateurs.
I think that you were in the cardroom at the time, so you should know the individual that I am referring to.
Could you please investigate the matter with some urgency, and discipline the dealer in question.
I thank you kindly.
