Mrs Phan is the best but, unlike Adrian Maricrappa and Marvin Phuqqin Sordell, she didn't find herself much in demand in the January window. We are, I feel, all noy boys, for not snapping up such a prodigious talent.

She won it last night obv, but wouldn't have scored points anyway. Only 23 runners.

* = paid

Latest standings
Dean Morris *            121
Paul Noonan *            115
---------------------------
Ryan Spittles *          104
Ed Overall               97
Darren Alien             94
Anthony Kendall *        90
Edna Adams *             78
Gavin Kan *              76
Alex Riccardi-Warren     76
Ady Lovelock             76
Julian Lefevre           48
Dave Johnson             46
Bharat Joshi *           43
Graham Wheldon *         21

What a final table last night! Although that was David Johnson the Luton reg, not David Johnson, the well-respected circuit pro right?

A good night for Drainy, with both McAnonEverReady (15pts) and Cash-pro Calenti (12) scoring well. Noonantroll (5) back in sixth.

The following grimmers STILL need to cough up a nifty...

Alex Riccardi-Warren
Julian Lefevre
Ed Overall
Ady Lovelock
Darren Alien
Dave Johnson

Need it one way or another before Vegas jaunt next Monday please. Will be present this evening for debt collection. Otherwise the comp WILL go the same way as this week's jump racing.

Nope - just another example of Grosvenor Head Office shoving the website into the hands of the carpark attendant.

3 x 30 then 25 min levels after that.

they've done it so comps end earlier?

has there been much demand for shorter clocks then?

Yup, Lutoners, the webshite is correct...

http://www.grosvenorcasinos.com/local-casinos/luton

The majority of comps are now 3x30mins followed by 20min throughout.

I was on a fishing trip before when I said the fantasy league was being scrapped. Donks was top. I was bottom. It felt too good to miss. But I'm afraid is is now gone and I'll divi up my £50 between the current top three thus: £25, £15, £10.

The official line(s) last night were...

"It's head office who decide the structures and there isn't much leeway."

"We've had a lot of complaints from regulars that the tournaments are going on too late."

Either of these close to the mark George?

Well played Simon 'run good' Galloway last night, TID from a random, Phil Mildon and Johnny Vacuumcleaner. KK < 44 here on the FT bubble. Marv.

Edna was fumming last night. So was MDD (stdd). Andy Daffodil heading elsehwere he says. I'm not playing at the G again until sensible poker returns. Back to London ftw.

Numbers may well not be affected by turning every comp into a turbot. For every Edna that disappears, a James May on crack will come on in.

This idea that everyone wants deeper stacks and shorter clocks? Can't have it at all. The only one who liked the changes at table 1 last night was the miserable old dude who had half his breakfast down his top. Nuff sayed.

December we had 30min clocks for everything. January it was 3x30mins then 25mins. February it's 3x30mins then 20mins. Why George?

1m20mins of poker then 15min break? It just looks cynical. Sorry.
