Bit of a pity all this - the only comps I can see that I'd probably want to play are the 2 Saturday ones. Probs my least fav day to play poker comps though
Pretty sure the numbers will go up though so my view is pretty irrelevant I guess

wow, so after 4 levels (80 minutes) you are at 400-800 playing about 35xbb at starting stack?
numbers are going to plummet once players play a few.

so why introduce this?
You can give someone 500,000 starting chips, but if the structure is as described above (equivalent) then players are headed elsewhere.

I really don't know what's going on at the g everything was going well. Ave comp with a £50 bye-in 8k starting stack and around 30 blinds and thes comps were pulling 40-50 runners a pop. Made for a fun night out at the tables not finishing to late (around 2-3am) and alright prize pools. But somepeople started to put the
in and started to say things like the starting stacks were to big and it was slowing play down (some of thes people were the players sitting on there stacks only playing the top 10% of starting hands) ,that the comps were running to long (I'm sorry but the more runners you get the more chips there is in play, the more people there is to get thro).
Now in some sort of F@#ked up way to keep thes 2 or 3 people happy (some of there propel that we're saying this only turned up when the sun was high in the night sky and there star chart was telling them to go play poker and moan about it) things have gone from bad to well lets just say it, there messed up.
If any of the G team are reading this can we pls go back to the way it was not stuped starting stacks with high speed clocks, just give us some chips doset have to be alot how about 1k for every £10 of your bye-in, a nice a stady 25-30 min clock with an all right blind stutter and antys coming in early say just after level 3 (by the way this is when the first break should be and were all re entry's should stop). That's all we ask for and then we can come play some poker, spend dranys money at the bar and play on your pit games after all that's what we all want
Ok I've said my bit and proble pissed some people off with so many spelling cock ups but I'm sorry I felt like it had to be said. I for one like the G and all it's start and players but come on its just not worth it now

I wanted to play poker tonight but there's nothing worth playing in Luton. And that ain't cool.
Tbh I thought that, after there was a bit of a group whinge about the 20min clocks in February, this month's schedule would have gone back the other way. But it's gone even further towards crapsville.
Is this a short-term experiment to see how numbers go or what?
Whatever, I'm just playing the £50 Sunday nighter at Stanley's Electric Minty Genting Circus for the time being. 7pm start, 15,000 chips and 25min clock right through?
