Hey guys would like to know your views on how A certain ruling should be interpreted please, views would be greatly received.
after a round of betting the dealer knocks the table, burns and deals the flop/turn or river, as doing so player A wails "i haven't acted"..... my question is what is the best/more fair ruling here? Should the player act then re-shuffle and re-deal if so should the rest of the board be dealt out face down first or not?
Should the players hand become "dead"?
Or any other outcome?
Also what if the dealer does not knock the table? Same or different?
Ty.
Had this happen in a few places (not me be for you say it) and the best way off dealing with it that I have sean is to run the turn and river face down and re do the flop

Putting the turn and river face down tilts me so much. Just reshuffle the entire deck.

Reshuffling the entire deck is standard procedure at Luton,if memory serves
Think that changes if 2 pieces of action have taken place though after the error, which in this case it hasnt

Can I get away from this imo?
Level 1, solid player to my right, rest of table pretty clowny.
10mins in, approx on starting stack of 10-11k, 25-50.
Ordinary laggy donk two to my right opens to 150.
Have AK on the button, bump to 525, OrdLagDonk calls oop as expected.
Flop K55 rainbows. OLD checks, I fire an excellently sized 625, OLD calls.
Turn 10. OLD checks. I chuck out 1100, he rises to 2500. I then shove. He sigh calls saying "Oh well, looks like I'm getting an early night". And then turns over K 10!
Thoughts?

Not a bad spot to exercise some pot control and check back the turn. Especially if he has KT.

All worked out in the end though, hero went on to smash they'm up at Circus Circus, while OLD didn't even make the final! Poker karma ftw!
