The crowd is turning into basically just a joke now- load of 100iq knuckle heads who aint even watching the game. I been going darts for years and this crowd must be one of the worst, not even noticing 140+ and 167 finishes. Instead huge groups of lads singing songs across a hall to each other at 4 in the afternoon?
These sheep are all over the cricket at test level. Pretty embarrassing last year when Tendulkar is getting jeered, then various sections of the crowd who have little knowledge of the game start goading each other because the Indians in the ground do not react to their insults. Pathetic! |

Yeah i read someone else put that up on bf, saying stats suggested it. I think id take 11/8 DNB, but dunno if could back it straight up- main hope is you get a few "dead 180s"- ie 180 when leg already lost- i know Wades not prolific but prices look right to me

Really? It was thoroughly average. Look at the numbers, very little to write home about. um..... exactly ....... i think Wadey is renowned for doing enough, more importantly doing it against the guy he is up there with. What about the premier league when Taylor threw 2 9 darters? His stats that night were amazing and he finished 2nd. The stats wont always win you matches. For players like Wadey its all in his attitude. From his interview pre xmas he seems really in the right frame of mind, and with his side of the draw it is going to get gradually more difficult, which is a good thing. |

Just think you rate Wade far too highly. He's done some awesome things in darts, but always failed on the biggest stage... I seem to remember you saying he would have beaten Taylor after the way he played in his last match and I disagree with that too. Not often, if at all, that you'll see Taylor losing to a player averaging 95. Definitely think he's in the running for it, but I make him no more a favourite than Anderson, Lewis and Whitlock. Think it's absolutely wide open. |
