Im not bitter and I have no bad beat stories to grind but you have to laugh at this game. I wait around all year for a series of good cards and I still lose.
Sunday £100 at the Gala Nottingham.
I hit quad

in the pre tourny cash game and win a nice pot.
I flop a str8 on the flop twice during the buy ins and lose both times firstly to runner runner flush and secondly to a bigger str8. cash game profit gone in rebuying.
After the buy ins I call a raise with pocket

on the big blind. flop comes

raiser bets full pot, small blind goes all in, I go all in, raiser calls.
Turn is the

giving small blind the nut flush, river is the case 4 giving me quads and 30k chips.
Blinds 300 / 600
Move tables and in less than 20 mins lose all my chips with.....
Pocket jacks beaten by Q9... flop A Q 4 and checked down
AK took the blinds
22 pass to reraise pre flop
A 6 call & pass to reraise and missed out on a three way pot AA v KK v KK
KK lost to A Q (made a str8)
KK lost to A Q (all in pre flop - ace on flop)
I am sure others will have far worse stories to tell but that is by far the best series of hands I have had of an evening and I am home 2 hours earlier than normal.
