Looks unbalanced to me.

Maybe 1 chicken breast and chop it into salad, and serve some veg with the steak?

Especially if he's going to be doing a lot of running, need more carbs.

still no weighing scales as of yet but heres my food for today

Morning Almonds and protien shake after the gym

lunch two chicken breasts with some jerk chicken spice

tea steak with rice and some sauce

prob eat a satsuma or banana if i am hungry later

hope i can keep this up been pretty good these days

but one Q is it ok to eat a redic amount of chicken?
I bought 10kg worth of breast and i eat around 2 a day about 4-5 days a week

gonna start gyming alot more cos i need to run the 10k in march and i am pretty unfit

just ordered some scales online so will do weigh in when i get it!

Nothing wrong with that at all if you ask me.

You'll need to add a few carbs if you're running though.

Eat as much chicken as you want within reason Paul,  22g of protein per 100g, 3.2g fat and 116 cals make it perfect health food. As Matt said flick some rice/pasta in for carbs and you're good to go.

Use the app that was posted earlier in the thread to control your intake of calories. It adjusts the amount your allowed to eat based on the amount of running your doing, I've found it really useful.

First major hiccup today. I was dog sitting for my mother at her house, and whenever I go round my old family home I start pigging out like I have never eaten before. I am now going to list what I ate to shame myself into not doing it tomorrow when I dog sit again:

1 mince pie
1 small bag of monster munch
3 biscuits
5 pieces of licorice
6 small squares of chocolate
some twiglets

All in about 4 hours.

Got a big gym session in about 30 minutes so hopefully I can rescue the day.
I don't like the small monster munch and small squares of chocolate ...sounds like your trying to justify it .......

Barry !

Wtf.

doesn't seem too bad to me. how many calories do you reckon? i know in a perfect world we'd be eating organic protein and vegetables every meal but our main aim for the next 3 months is to lose fat, so calories not food quality is the most important thing no?
