My gut reaction was to fist pump at the fact I lost 1/2lb. As I mentioned earlier, this is what I expected. I really struggled, but managed, to stay on track this week. My food choices were a little bit worse, my gym sessions were a little bit slacker, and although I managed to keep within my own limits that I set for myself, there was a lot of resistance.

However, I am a now a tad dissapointed, that a few minor tweaks here and there could have made it closer to a 2lbs loss. Its a good reminder not to slack maybe.

The biggest dissapointment is that I have a major test coming up this week - 3 days in Paris, one of those being at a free bar no less, and a meal out (curry) with my mates when I get back.

Originally I was going to set a goal of maintaining for the next seven days, but now my mini goal is a 1/2lb weight loss. If I can do that with what I have coming up, it will be a big boost for the rest of the challenge.

9 3/4lb weight loss in total

was thinking about this vodka and diet coke?/lemonade?

I was investigating the other night and southern comfort seems to have the least calories at 46 per shot, vodka, gin etc is up around 70 ish.

Confident that I could more than hold my own against someone a similar size to me. Especially someone from a non sports/athletic background. Actually intrigued to see how I would do against you tbh, hoped for a little better than evens with my obv weight disadvantage. but flat £20 is fine. You still knock around Lincoln?  do you know where the footy pitch in Branston is? I can do any night of the week from Tuesday after 1930.

San mig light is lower than that and no reduced alcohol content unlike many light beers.
