Week has gone near perfect for me, though I am cautious to make such a claim because I thought it had last week and was gutted with a 3/4 weight loss. I've made some minor tweaks to my diet, nothing major, all stuff I would be happy doing the rest of my life.

Been using the calorie counter jobby and estimate I have burned just under 1000 calories more than I eat a day, though I have tried to be tough with my estimations so if I am lucky, it has been more.

Whatever the result this week, I am pretty chuffed with how easy it has been for me to control my appetite and still eat stuff I like. It is remarkable how much bread & cereal screwed me in hindsight, I think I might have to eventually stop having bread alltogether.

It's routine more than anything I've always found and once I start going off it just snowballs. Bread has always been my single biggest trigger, I would get a tiger loaf from Tesco and instead of having a sandwich I would eat half the loaf in one sitting.

Don't think I could ever give bread up though it's just tooooo good Cheesy

You are describing me here, i was a bread junkie.

I would make a slice of toast as a snack, then another, then another, then I would eat a dry slice while waiting for the next one, then some biscuits.......

I started off by saying just one serving a day of two slices, usually at noon. Then I got some of those loafs with smaller, 2/3 sized slices. Now I am currently down to one slice (I tend to have scrambled eggs/beans on toast at lunch). I honestly think the next step is no bread.

An while I still fancy a bit of chocolate or a bag of chips here and there, I (so far) have not really got the mad cravings I would have when I was a bread monster. Time will tell if they come back, but all I know is most previous diet type attempts have me desperately fighting temptation at around 9pm, and at the moment, that is not a big issue.

Haha good bread is like crack for me and I might have to indulge in some Tiger over the weekend now. I only eat pitta breads now unless it's a treat and leave the Tesco baguettes alone as there is no middle ground for me unfortunately.

Chocolate is my worst kryptonite, I can eat a family size bar of dairy milk in one hit no bother and could prob do more if it was there. The worst part for me is the sheer amount of chocolate that is around our house, my mum buys it by the trolleyful and just leaves it lying around

I've been pretty good other than about 300g of mini eggs last week .....

Its one thing to have the odd lapse and occasional treat but seems like a few weeks of discipline have led to some blow ups?

Get it sorted lads.

Diet 11/02/12

400g Chicken
200g Rice
75g Onion
100g Broccoli Florets
Isoclear x 2
1/2 Pro 50

Protein:224g
Carbs:   96g
Fats:    22g

Cals:   1496

Decent end to the week although doing Back with just DB is not that good especially when you're not the steadiest on your feet like myself and there isn't as much stability as there is with a bar which is key for me. WWIII could be imminent here if I buy more stuff but needs must so I'm just gonna ship it and butter up mum with a course of beauty treatments or something Cheesy

Weighed in under 100kg for the first time since before I was having problems getting to the gym and only 1lb from a stone down!!
