Very happy, back on track.

14st 6 3/4lb

Weekly loss: - 3 1/4lb
Overall loss: - 12 1/2lb

Had two very solid weeks in a row imo, didn't have any massive appetite issues, went to the gym plenty and worked hard at it. Last week I calorie counted all week and it helped in two ways. One I managed to make the minor-est of tweaks to my diet, as always nothing I didn't want to do anyway, just reduced portion sizes a bit, opted for marginally lighter snacks etc. Secondly, I just walked the dog a little more than usual, as I knew the extra 100 calories here and there was going to help out.

I will keep calorie counting for the next week, simply because I have two meals out coming up - Valentines and a mates birthday (you guessed it, another curry), plus another mate has split up with his missus and I reckon he wants me to go for a beer with him. Tough week ahead, but I think I will try and offset that by one more gym session than I normally would (normally go 4 times a week) and giving the dog an extra walk a day (he usually gets 2 or 3 good ones a day anyway).

Only 7lbs to go to hit the target, but maintaining will be way tougher than losing imo.

I just wanna be clear this really was not expected ....but very very welcome!

i will not take it easy this coming week and am going to work very hard.

this was so obviously a fluke.

the only explanation is that up and down the stairs all day /all week tiling and fitting bathroom has obviously helped a Lott.

I WILL NOT TAKE THIS AS OK THIS IS EASY

16st 5lbs for a loss of 5lbs on the week and a total loss of 47 lbs.

Couple of mini-targets approaching, 16st barrier could be next week with an exceptional week, but realistically the week after.  Then a few more pounds will see the 4stone loss, which will put me in a decent place (physically and mentally)

I was originally planning different rewards to the ones that I have actually booked/taken, but sometimes things don't quite work out as planned.  I've booked a couple of flights, comedy tickets, multiple sports events, massages.  Thinking of doing a track day (now I am below the max weight to get in the car) and booking up Euro Disney or Alton Towers or something for the school holidays.

As Barry pointed out, losing it is actually the easy bit - maintaining is far more tough, so I'm thinking having some things booked up later in the year will help keep my focus on what I am doing and why.

Not particularly, my THM pic is prolly close to the "before" and my pic in SPT Luton thread is prolly close to the "after"  Most of the weight has come off the belly, with secondary area being chin(s)+face

Ty Lee, but it isn't comparing like for like.  Everyone that has lost 10 lbs has arguably made more inroads than I have.  They have taken steps to living with food and losing weight, I took a different route.  Surprisingly easy to follow, weight loss is obv handy for the impatient types, but the re-introduction of food is not easy.  A lot of people do put some of the weight back on, as was pointed out in abundance earlier ITT.  But just because others (including myself) have failed (or partially failed) in the past, doesn't mean it isn't worth me trying again.
