Few more tips for you Rich

1. Bad idea to skip breakfast

2. French toast is fine. Any food is fine. It's only the quantity you need to monitor.

3. Don't get married to the scales. How you look and feel is a better measurement of success because everyone is different and weight can be unpredictable at first.

4. Talk to the chef at DTD and special request grilled chicken breast or whatever you want or take a packed lunch.

Well done so far.

Yup, thanks all

Posting on here is helping a lot.

Keep it going Rich, tremendous effort so far.

In between all the Level 5 stuff we see here, with all these weird & wonderful "Get Thin" schemes, just remember that the fundamentals of Dieting are just......

Eating better.

Eating less.

Geting your head in the right place.

Do those three, & the rest is easy.

It really is that simple. You can put twirls bells & whistles on it, but those three are the top & bottom of it.

Been delaying starting my attempts this year since moving house, we're now a bit more settled and as of this week when our internet/sky goes in life will return to normal.

I've also not had my head around it with all the aggro moving and when living amongst boxes it's very easy to dial a dinner. Tighty entering the fray, and doing so well has given me the extra kick up my backside I needed (TY Rich)

Will weigh myself in the morning and go from there, my real target is improving my mobility again which has worsened over the last few months and no doubt hindered by the extra weight I am carrying.

I'll go with a couple stone from the numbers tomorrow and then see the lie of the land when I get there. Once I'm rolling along I will head back into the gym and doing Matt's dumbbell challenge too.

Scales ready, enough whey protein to start my own supplement shop and an order in to www.westingourmet.co.uk that will fill most of the freezer!

I hope there is room for another little big one!

Same as Marky above, I will weigh myself in the morning and look to lose a few stone from there

I find this thread quite inspirational and I truly need to lose weight as I feel my health is suffering from it and a post by Red Dog talking about leading a better quality of life in order to expand his life on this planet really hit a nerve and gave me the kick up the backside I needed. I think that I have just taken things for granted and become lazy so I hope that this thread will help me get my life back on track.
