Just remembered a hand played by Jo against ActionJack himself later in the tournament.

The cards were:

Jo checked twice in the dark and Paul checked behind her and on the river Jo bet about 10k into a 20k pot. Paul folded, I think an ace.

Jo shows.

It's all true folks,

I was sat next to the lovely Jo as she cheekily played Jacko like a cheap fiddle with her in the dark checks.

Poor old Paul didn't know what hit him. Don't know what he folded but his face was a picture for the next 3 hands. Cheesy

One midly amusing moment was when 'i know it' arrived at my table with approximately 1 1/2 bb, i asked him if he would be waiting for aces and he smiled and said something like 'of course'. Next hand he announces all in, in a three way pot...........

Of course he had aces.

I have to take my hat of to Robert HM

Organising the heads up with that unruly lot was harder than organising a farting contest in a sandstorm, but, with immense patience and good humour he got the job done

Kudos

Asking Mr Aces as he sat at the table what his name was - I'm still not too sure if he thought I was being serious..

Asking The Tank to repeat everything he said to me "slowly and in English please..."  Strangely enough when he spoke word by word very slowly I understood him perfectly.........

just remembered another funny bit - the news at our table was that snoopy's brother had offered a "free drink all night" bounty for the player to knock snoopy out. After I had fortunately managed to do that, no-one would take my raises seriously, thinking that I was trying to bust myself out to get to the bar.

The good thing for me though, was I did have the cards, so managed to go from 2500 to around 17000 in the space of 10 minutes, Smiley

Raising the Nun's blind with 47o and then bluffing her off the J 5 3 flop when she held pkt 6's.

I think she knew I was at it. She probably just felt sorry for me or something.

Bullying Simon Trumper..... till he knocked me out that is. Feel partly responsible for him winning this, after I pissed all my chips away to him.

An easy one for me....

down to 11 players, pushing from SB with  , called by wardonkey with  , flop shows  we're close in chips - I might be out, but no - I'm down to 600 chips with blinds 5000/10000

then trippling up 3 hands in a row with  with Simon sitting behind me asking to see my cards. Hit a boat with the final triple up and went from 600-1800-5400-16200 in the space of 3 hands on the bubble. Simon then knocked someone out and I was in the money. It was a sensational sequence of events for me which I'm sure I'll never forget.... and I made enough noise about it to make sure that no-one at our table will forget it either

Jammer (The two faced bugger) who, during the quiz, fed me false information in return for my false information

(He didn't know mine was false)

What!? And to think I trusted you mccready.....

At this point I have to mention Mrs Jammer, who's name I didn't catch because I was too busy wondering how a bloke like you managed to pull her

Please give her my regards, she's lovely

The very fact that she is with you proves that you are prone to lying through your teeth

I think the deal was sewn as soon as she knew he had such a smashing little brother.  Roll Eyes

And before you say, no, we don't have any other siblings. Cheesy

More to the point Soopyn does she Huh?
