Ok not sure what tournament you are talking about but if we use the dtd deepstack as an example. If we swap 10% on the friday and I bust but then buy back in on the saturday surely the 10% is now dead?
In your example I would say that 25% is owed as this was agreed at the final.
As said earlier best to sort this out before as it is going to be highly likely someone will be re-entering in a re-entry tourney.
P.S. Surely u didn't win a comp Lee!!

I would expect player A to give B 25% of the total win but if I was B I wOuld not be against giving A half of the rE entry back as a goodwill gesture.
Sort this all out before hand IMO

You give mate 25% of the cash and go for a steak together full of the joys of spring. The re-entry buy-in is too ghey to mention, esp at the dinner table.

Pretty sure it's the opposite, gamblers know how it's is. Non gamblers are the ones who get confused.

So if you never made the cash then the player who re-entered then makes the ft do you expect him to give out %%% for free? ? Nah, once you get knocked out the % swap deal is history. If you re-enter and propose a new % swap deal at ft that's a completely seperate entity to the deal you had before.
