Ok not sure what tournament you are talking about but if we use the dtd deepstack as an example. If we swap 10% on the friday and I bust but then buy back in on the saturday surely the 10% is now dead?

In your example I would say that 25% is owed as this was agreed at the final.

As said earlier best to sort this out before as it is going to be highly likely someone will be re-entering in a re-entry tourney.

P.S. Surely u didn't win a comp Lee!!

I would expect player A to give B 25% of the total win but if I was B I wOuld not be against giving A half of the rE entry back as a goodwill gesture.

Sort this all out before hand IMO

You give mate 25% of the cash and go for a steak together full of the joys of spring. The re-entry buy-in is too ghey to mention, esp at the dinner table.

Nah, once you get knocked out the % swap deal is history. If you re-enter and propose a new % swap deal at ft that's a completely seperate entity to the deal you had before.
