If the company checks out and has no horror reviews book away.

For people that gamble, it's obviously beneficial to book direct where possible.

I'm never going to be comped a room, because the only place that sees action from me is the bar and third party deals are sometimes best.

Lee I've used them three time for trips to Dublin and Vegas. In October I got the Aria through them at £844 for 11 nights.

The hotel is simple - Palazzo

You all get in the same room, it's excellent and you won't be squashed.

It will cost you a bit more per night, but you're going to save money by not having to book 2 rooms.

You can't get a room at the Palazzo currently for those 11 nights, but you're stuck on the dates you can go because Virgin don't fly every day from Manchester.

One thing I dont get (except in cases of disabled people) - just fly from Manchester to London first thing in the morning. Cheap if you add it to your original flight and you get free brekkie. Plus flights are often cheaper from London and you get more choice.

£617 Manchester Jan-end March.

This good?

If you don't mind going via London it's definitely a decent price, and the £200 you save will pay for some of your hotel.

If I can't get a reasonably priced flight this year(providing I go), I'll go indirect. The hassles at airports are non existent for me, because I just get whizzed around.

If I can save £250 for a couple hours extra on the journey, that will pay for most of my hotel, and I'm getting 2 weeks all in for a grand.

I raised this but it got lost with the WSOP announcement. Surely it is cheaper to travel to London by train or something as you will have enough time to book the cheap seats...

Just had a quick look on ebookers and it appears you could have saved over £100 booking thru them.

Lol, nice rubdown!

Not meant to be, but as you have probably noticed, Ive deleted the comment as I dont know exactly what he has booked. In all fairness, that price might be for more than 2 people.

I've never really looked into doing it that way, but if you're getting Manch-Vegas via London for £600, I would have thought you need some very cheap flights to make it worth travelling down via train to get on one in London.

Doesn't really work with this offer Marky - I would always book MAN to LAS via LHR no matter what.

However, it's the people that say "I'm not flying from MAN/GLA/EDI/xxx to LON" but will quite happily change in somewhere like ATL or JFK that I was aiming at.

Ahhhhh, I get what you mean now, and definitely agree with you.

No danger of missing your connection this side, but if you're unlucky with immigration in the US you can miss the connecting flight.

I flew LGW > LAS. Isn't that the easiest way to do it?

Really enjoyed my first trip there. Was only for 3 nights but great fun. We were staying at the MGM Grand. My mate had 3 nights comped. He's back late jan and they're comping him 7 nights. Between us we gambled enough to have all our food/drink wiped from the bill lol.

Add in the fact I've come back with slightly more than I took and I'm v happy.

Just not looking forwards to having to pay for things again lol
