Golden Nugget has a room sale on, which offers up to 25% off the cost.

Just changed the booking I had, and got 21st June - 5th July for ~$820 inc tax*

*$20 a night resort fee to go on

Code -  EB1020

Do you have to pay up front, Mark, or can you just book, pay a small deposit, & then cancel later?

You only pay the first night, and it's possible to cancel right up until a few days before you're due to arrive.

Just checked, and I've paid £25 for the first night, which is refundable.

Hmm, that's got the wheels turning.

Hmm, that's got the wheels turning.

When I used to split my trip, between 2/3 hotels,  I usually ended up with about 1/2 a dozen rooms.

If you don't end up using it, it costs nothing, so always worth having in your pocket.

Easier now I only stay at the Nugget, but this is the 2nd booking I've made, as it trumped the earlier sale, and the one I had made with ebookers, too.

Stayed at Monte Carlo a couple of years ago. Rooms fine but thought food places a bit limited.

Flight is obv a slam dunk.

MC is a decent location.  There's normally better rooms for the same $$ available, depends on exact dates and how much you are prepared to shop around (or how nicely you ask Marky)

Cheesy

If Mike lets me know what he's looking at paying, I'll have a look for him now.

Stayed there this year, was fine. Cash games were also good, albeit slightly limited compared to other card rooms.

Enjoy!

Was going to page Tal, as I think he may have stayed there on a trip.

Glad that a few have been able to give some feedback anyway.

You're right next to the Aria if you need more card action, too.

Have a good trip, Mike.

Me & Giblin popped into the card room back in June, games were definitely limited, but it was a really nice atmosphere with a fair few locals on our table.

The end of November sees 'Black Friday', and often an opportunity for some very good deals.

Takes a bit of donkey work, but definitely worth having a hunt about if you intend going.
