Virgin and BA package prices seem to be the cheapest I have seen them for a few years, are numbers down after the Mandalay shootings?

Think people are more worried about resort fees and parking charges, than they are about getting shot.

 http://www.nhl.com/stanley-cup-playoffs/2018/golden-knights-vs-sharks-series-l

Tickets for next season's Golden Knights games will be some of the hottest in town whether they win the Stanley Cup or not. The season will be done & dusted by the time the WSOP kicks off, but there's another reason to think about visiting Vegas from September through April.

Currently, it's 10/3 for the Knights to make NHL History.

https://www.headforpoints.com/2018/05/09/mbna-virgin-atlantic-credit-card-closing/

MBNA is closing your Virgin Atlantic credit card – what should you do?

If you have the MBNA-issued Virgin Atlantic White or Black credit cards, you should have received a letter yesterday telling you what I predicted was going to happen – that the cards are closing sooner rather than later.

Lots of good info in the article about the new cards.

I got a communication yesterday confirming that they were no longer issuing these cards but that my existing ones were currently unaffected, although it did say that further communication was expected by 25th June (from memory).

Edit: Just read the article more closely and they're suggesting that the above is the start of the cancellation process, despite the letter not saying so.

I booked June flights using miles  on the 20 th December
Now I’m trying to book September and or end of November ,I have 2 upgrades to premium economy on my account but mysteriously there’s no premium seats for upgrades on either dates
I’ts been good for me but it seems to be getting more difficult to get seats using miles !

Does anybody have any other card deals maybe with referral codes ? With ? BA
is ba miles / points any good / worth doing ?

Presumably any airmiles are with Virgin and not MBNA so won't be affected?    So get the new card and carry on as normal?  I have a nice credit limit on my card at the moment, do you think I'll have a similar one on my new card?   I know you don't know my details but I've never had card/debt issues.   A think I'll have to call Virgin Money tomorrow.

I think I read those of us with the card you pay for are SOL with that?   I'm not even mid way through my year yet, not too happy about having to fork out another £160 for the new card.

Pretty sure you'll get a prorata refund on the current card annual fee.

Seems you only get one PE upgrade rather than two now.  That's kind of a shame but that said, this year is the first time I've ever used them.

How long does her upgrade last for ?
