carhire3000 now re-routes to rentalcars.com same platform/prices.  Some of the strip locations have changed a bit, you can play around with it depending on what you want to do and find a decent price.  I've stopped renting for the duration of my trip where I was picking up at the airport and dropping off at the airport.  I seem to prefer a few drinks on the flight, a couple of days mooching around, middle stint with a car with stuff planned, last few days without.  Over time, I realised that the car spent the first few days and last few days in the carpark untouched.

Even if you are staying at Ballys, you could easily find it much cheaper to pick up at Encore (or the other way round)

Ok Simon thanks we use Uber in Vegas been lazy the last few trips n not rented a car
We are thinking about going to Miami in November to use a seat upgrade n some miles up ,so will try carhire 3000 for that too
Memory says it was a better deal than dealing with airport based firms although ultimately it was cross hired through one of the bigger firms

If people are members of wynn red card, they have just sent me out an offer with much more reasonable rates than they have been previously.  I don't think it is generally available.

Is there a code with the email, Doobs?

I normally get sporadic emails from Wynn, but not had anything today.

Nice $50k GTD PLO8 on the 23/6 for Tikay & Doobs.

Cheers Marky, but my flight gets in at 3.30 on that day, so it is likely 5pm before I get checked in.

There is a 5.10pm $1100 plo8 at the Venetian on the 23rd, but guess that late start is probably too much too.   I could do with a 3pm crapshoot I can late reg into, but might just can it, get some food and/or play a bit of 1/3, and aim for the 11am start next day at the Nugget.

Preliminary schedule
24 June 11am $360 Big O at the Nugget
25 June 3pm $1500 PLO8 at the WSOP
26 June 11am $570 Mixed O8 at the Nugget.  There is a $800 mixed omaha at the Venetian, and a 1100 omaha at the Wynn too.
27 June 2pm $1500 Mixed O8 at the WSOP
28 June 3pm 10k championship O8 at the WSOP.
29 and 30 June there are one day $1100 hold em tourneys at the Wynn; a $1100 PLO8 2 dayer at Planet Hollywood and some $400 hold em tournaments at the Aria if I have had enough of torching money.

So that could be $16k without any rebuys.  I think I may need to sell some in the 10k, though I haven't decided, and if I aim to play the 10k, I will have to forget rebuts in the $1500 WSOP O8s (particularly the mixed O8 one).  Maybe making day 2 of some of these WSOP tournaments would be a good idea?

Looks a very good week of poker whatever I do.

That's definitely what I'd be doing. No point trying to dive into anything the minute you land, unless you're a full on masochist!

23-06 @ 12:00 - $800  8-Handed       (Rio)
23-06 @ 12:10 - $600 EpicStack 1e   (Ven) - 24th Day 2
24-06 @ 11:00 - $570  WPT 500      (Aria)
25-06 @ 11:00 - $600  Deepstack    (Rio)
26-06 @ 10:00 - $400  Coloss 1b    (Rio)
27-06 @ 11:00 - $600  $600k      (Nug)
29-06 @ 11:00 - $1100 NLHE $250k GTD   (Wynn)
01-07 @ 11:00 - $1000 Mini Main    (Rio)
02-07 @ 12:10 - $600 MonsterStack 1b   (Ven)
03-07 @ 12:00 - $600 MonsterStack  Day2
08-07 @ 12:10 - $400 Monsterstack 1day   (Ven)
08-07 @ 14:10 - $600 PLO8 8-Max      (Ven)

Probably shoot for around 1/2 of those, so will definitely be selling some, and most certainly one and done Cheesy

That structure chart is very good; wish I found it last year.   It is a year late, but you can use the table for a lot of similar comps; or the calculator if you have some time.   Looks like the Golden Nugget has nailed the high rake/fast structure concept.   I'll be throwing away EV again this year.  It shows the WSOP structures were fine as they were too.

It hasn't been updated yet, but will be once all the structures are out.

That scheduling tool is the business, too.

Open it up and just see what's starting when on the day.

I've got an ITIN now thanks to the Venetian HL slot staff, but the only comp I'll maybe play at the GN will be the main.

Only change is event number removed from CSOP event on 7/5 - events thereafter dropped by one event number.

Knew I should have left PHo for another week.
