Virgin has been cancelling flights in the first week of November, so the rumour of "early November" no longer being on the table looks accurate.
They clarified for once and all that all WHO vaccines would be accepted, and even Shapps spoke on it yesterday, saying the Americans still think it'll be done for then.
Jon Sopel Tweeted something about it not looking good, and another guy I've been following (Jon Leader) that runs some airline group replied to him -
Jon, happy to share the following: the issues affecting the administration’s policy rollout will not affect the launch date of “early November” because the issues are not about vaccinated foreign travelers. The remaining CDC issues are about unvaccinated Americans.I'm pretty apathetic about it now, even though I've got a trip booked in December.
So many cancellations numb you up, and I'm just glad that by next summer we should be good to go
