Virgin has been cancelling flights in the first week of November, so the rumour of "early November" no longer being on the table looks accurate.

They clarified for once and all that all WHO vaccines would be accepted, and even Shapps spoke on it yesterday, saying the Americans still think it'll be done for then.

Jon Sopel Tweeted something about it not looking good, and another guy I've been following (Jon Leader) that runs some airline group replied to him -

Jon, happy to share the following: the issues affecting the administration’s policy rollout will not affect the launch date of “early November” because the issues are not about vaccinated foreign travelers.  The remaining CDC issues are about unvaccinated Americans.

I'm pretty apathetic about it now, even though I've got a trip booked in December.

So many cancellations numb you up, and I'm just glad that by next summer we should be good to go Grin

Should be on a plane right now but that one's cancelled

24th Nov with Matt looks promising though

And they're open from the 8th!

If they've got anything worth playing I might put something together, and will do.

As for the drinks bill... you're safe. I think I've only been drunk a couple time in the last few years Cheesy

If you're all determined to light some money on fire with me, I'll keep an eye out for the Venetian & Wynn Xmas festivals Smiley

February is usually good for festivals Tony. There should be a Venetian deepstack, plus maybe a WSOP Circuit in the middle of the month.

Morocco will have no bearing on what the US does.

The last obstacle to Xmas in Vegas https://www.boots.com/covid-19-rapid-test-service

Nearest centre to me is Fareham, but I can't be arsed with all the postage aggro, and worth an hour drive to get it all done in the shop.

Hopefully by summer they'll be doing them in the Boots in town, though.

You can just do it at home Marky, no need to post anything back
