I go to Vegas in a week, been plenty of times before but never during wsop
What sort of satellites run at the rio, only looking at a couple of side events, probs the $1k on the 29th and the $1.5k on the 31st
Would I be right in thinking some satellite sit n gos will be running 24/7?

http://www.wsop.com/2014/mega%20satellite%20structures%202014%20wsop.pdf
I have only really played the one tables mid morning to late afternoon, where they are popping off pretty regularly. From recollection they do die in the small hours but are techinically available 24/7.
I am also going this year arrive a week today for 15 days, so if you or any other blondes want to meet for a meal/drinks etc drop a pm. I will give you my contact info.

I believe the night before they have a mega for the bracelet events.
SnGs run 24/7 and are great action. Fast clocks but certain value. If you do play those make sure you participate in the last longers as they drive down the already small rake even more. You can get action in a HU LL. You get paid in $500 lammers that you can only use to register for tournies.

push bots? as in all in or fold? yeah the first couple of levels you get some play but generally all in or fold
think the 125/175s have a 15 min clock and the 250s have a 20 min clock. can't remember the BIs exactly but would recommend the 200s+.
usually there will be last longers. 3/4/5 will throw in 40/50 in the smaller ones and in the bigger ones 100/200.
the players are generally a laugh too, get a lot of people in them who are just up for a gamble and a chat and they are fun.

While the clock makes a difference, the smaller ones have a 1k stack and the medium+ ones have 1500 (or more) stack, which definitely makes a difference to the playability.

Last year they were $125, $175, $225, $275, $375, $525 and also there was a $1k. Not sure if there were higher bi sng's.
As Ryan and Simon have said there is a lot more play in the $200+

Some splurge from Binions......
http://www.mynewsletterbuilder.com/email/newsletter/1412064243
Note especially.....
Binion's Gambling Hall & Hotel, iconic among poker players for its unmatched legacy in the game today, opens a brand-new poker room to build on its tradition and history as the place that made poker famous. Binion's new poker room features 10 tables in a contemporary setting designed to make players feel right at home while experiencing excellent service and some of the best deals in the game, including a $4.00 rake on all cash games, $2 comps per hour of live poker play, tableside food service, and special room rates.
The new Binion's poker room combines the nostalgia of the renowned Binion's heritage with the modern direction of the game. Historic photos are spaced around the room with eleven 42 and 50-inch plasma televisions for player viewing and entertainment. The Binion's Gallery of Champions and Poker Hall of Fame are located in the upscale concierge area, where available games are presented on electronic boards. The new room is flanked by two full-service bars featuring cocktails and video poker.

!
For those not familiar, Binions moved their Poker Room upstairs last year. It was accessed via various back staircases, & endless, long-abandoned & deserted corridors, which eventually took you to the Tourney Room.
The Room was completely unfirnished, & bare, nothing in it at all, though it had the bonus, oh-so rare in Vegas, of no music or slots, so it was at least peaceful & quiet.
The Bathrooms were immediately adjacent the room, but were a perfect health hazard, quite disgusting really.
The famous Binions Cash Room was still there, though, downstairs, & seemed to have quite a nice atmo.
No idea where this new Tourney Room will be, though 10 Tables suggests it is fairly small.

Sounds like the cash game room Tikay ??
Tourneys probably still in the longhorn room ??
They did post the cash game area had free wifi now on fb a while ago
Taking into account the age of most players the bathrooms need to be nearby 😃

Thanks to Sit N Charge for getting us set up! (Paul)
