Someone elsewhere asked about where it would be located and I said I didn't think they'd move until the Rio was no longer a Caesars property.
I know they've been whacking up that convention centre for a while, which some people thought was where it would go. I didn't follow it that closely, so had no idea what was happening.
Would be handy if it was on the strip, but makes sense how much aggro it is to block off 2 months of space.

Silverton lobster buffet every Friday from 330 pm
I read there were big queues
Figured let the rush die down
Arrived at 6 pm to be told they were 80 people / parties in front of us
Not to be deterred we go on the list
Finally got seated at 2045
It closed at 2130
But we had enough time
It was ok not worth the wait really
But been there done that
There is a huge bass pro shop attached
A massive fish tank where a real mermaid makes an appearance on the hour n half hour - she’s got a reliable watch I think 🤔
Dark casino dimly lit with industrial type ceiling I.e blacked out but all plumbing on view
Busy very busy
Hawaiian customers figure prominently but then everywhere is on a Friday in Vegas
Hence the Hawaiian buffet theme

Similar to the BA times. I prefer it, getting there, then just sorting out the room before crashing.

Just changed to later in the afternoon.
I'd prefer a little earlier on the flight home.

Still think the best way home is the AA/BA route. Vegas to JFK at around noon, getting to NY at 7.30pm. Night in a hotel, leave NY at 8.05, back to UK around 8pm.
Means no night flight back and gets round jetlag. Or it does for me.

That sounds like a nightmare, lol. After a few weeks there, I want to get home.
I don't mind the overnight flight, I just put the headphones on and sleep for most of it.

If i'm arriving that late, I would probably go for the indirect and save a couple hundred.

Inverness is the new Dublin.
£306 return in economy or £559 return in premium economy, various dates next June.
How the fuck you get to Inverness is another matter entirely.

How about 19th June - 17th July?
Premium with Virgin currently ~£1.4 for my dates.

Inverness £785 (change of London airport on both outbound and inbound flight, obv not ideal for outbound but perfect for inbound as they will have to release your luggage and no need to take last leg up to Inverness)
Manchester £850
Merry Christmas

Haha, thanks.
Think I'll have to just wait until it's under grand from Heathrow
