Nice one!
Got mine all sorted over the weekend, and last couple days.
Nomad 19th-25th
Cosmo 25th-2nd
Encore 2nd-8th
There while that $5m GTD is on, so might play that.
Raiders v Dolphins on the 25th September, if I can find an accessible ticket.
Lionel Richie larging it on the 2nd October, so might go to that, too

See Jet Blue are now flying to Vegas, and their Mint package looks good if you can get a nice price.

11 years ago I played the Wynn daily during the WSOP and it got a mighty 38 runners, an entry cost $250 and it had a prize pool of $7,500.

I am not even sure that they even ran a tournament every day back then, even during the WSOP.
5 years ago I played the Wynn $400 tournament during the WSOP. It got 240 runners and the prize pool was $82,000.

There is no WSOP this year, but they ran the $10K event anyway, and put a $10m guarantee on it. Well, they smashed it and first pays over $2m.

The room is fantastic, and they really desreve this. Am dreading the alternate line when I go back.

I love Wynncore, and can't wait to get back!
Still remember playing across from the Ferrari garage back when it first opened

Always the dream to win at poker and go buy a ferrari. Their wasn't much danger in their daily $200 jobs back then.
Back then the Bellagio was the biggest room outside of the WSOP. They aren't even running tournaments. I remember the big fields at Caesars too; I just checked and their biggest daily tournament has a $2k guarantee and an effective $200 buy in.

The Bellagio has a weekly $500 or something, or did pre covid.
Caesars never really had any decent tournaments outside their WSOP schedule, though.

Ah, didn't find it, guess it might just be postponed. Back when I started, it was definitely the number 1 in Vegas, so still a big fall from grace. I was surprised Caesars was still going, thought it had shut a couple of years ago, but now think it must have just been a room move.

All going to be a bit disjointed this year, as some places are running alongside the WSOP, and some are running them now.
I'd imagine the Venetian & Wynn will probably run another alongside the WSOP, too.
Caesars was always big, and in the room at the back of the cardroom when it was down by Pure.
Not been in Caesars for over 10 years, other than once I went to the shops to have dinner at Joe's Stone Crab.

I am struggling to keep up. It seems the Golden Nugget poker room has moved to a smaller site (it says 13 tables, and there must have been twice that before?) and red sushi looks like it has gone completely (it did merge with the Chinese and move location, but is no longer mentioned on their website).
They have stopped tournaments for now, but are running a series between September 28 and October 18.

They only advertise the cash room on the website which has been extended around and has 3/4 more tables added at the bottom end between the poker room and the cashier.
The tournaments are held in the convention room by the Rush Tower.
I've no idea on the restaurants, but no Saltgrass opened in the old Grotto, and they moved Grotto around to Lillies, I think.
I saw the tourney series tweet, as I told the old man he's down there for the first 10 days of it.

In this day and age, what's the best way to get your roll over to Vegas for playing cash games only? All of the recommended foreign travel cards only let you withdraw £300 per day which is barely a buy in at 1/3 at the Wynn, and travellers cheques seem to have died a death...

That sounds as though it might be the regular card-room judging by the number of tables.

Cash is easiest.
If your not comfortable with cash then wire to the cage.

Don't wire to the cage for poker, they often won't let you just have it to 'spend'
FairFX cards let you withdraw $1k a day.
