Best place to look for show tickets please ?
Vegas.com ?
We are hoping to stay till July 10 th from May 29 th
Mainly at southpoint
But thinking about a mid week night or two at plaza and downtown grand

If you know what you want to see, then sometimes it is easiest to book direct and most likely to get the best seats.

If your not sure what you want to see, and not to bothered about where you sit then you can get good deals while your there at the Tix4Tonight stands.

I always book mine direct, when it's shows at MLife resorts or other casinos on the strip.

Circa have just put a deal out for midweek nights 2 for $300 all in, and you get a free daybed at the pool as well as $50 Food & $50 credit at the Legacy bar on top floor.

Tell a lie, it was $100 food credit, $50 Legacy Club credit, and a daybed at Studio Swim.

You're allowed to take more than $10k cash as long as you declare it first. https://help.cbp.gov/s/article/Article-195?language=en_US

Like Marky says cash is definitely your best option.

Other alternative if you know someone out there prior to the main who manages to win a bit is to arrange something with them but that depends on how well you know them of course.

Things have gotten worse since payment processing in usd became frowned upon.

If you take >$10k cash, declare it at UK airport AND on arrival in US and have some paperwork to backup source of funds.  It is no issue, unless you choose not to, and then it can be an issue.

I think how you take the money depends largely on where it currently is and in what currency it currently is.  For instance, if you currently have it in UK bank in GBP, then taking cash is fine.  If you currently have it on a poker site in USD, then withdrawing it into UK bank (Likely at a bad rate, but some sites do spot tbf) and then converting it back to USD at anothe bad rate to take the cash would be a double hit and likely 6% territoy haircut.  For those in this sort of position, using an e-wallet to withdraw and then using the e-wallet pre-pay card as ither POS (hotel bill, restaurant bill etc etc) or as an ATM is a lot better.  Obviously it doesn't get you $10k in cash for main event, but for those just general Vegasing on <$1k day, it seems to me to work a lot better than cash.

Think it is hard to know.  I spent my first few trips to Vegas converting thousands of GBP into USD cash.  The last few trips I have managed to get a ~ $10K float, and pay for my hotel and sell a bit at the end at spot.  Overall, I think I must be close to even on poker alone (I satted into the main both times I played).

I am very conscious that I could just blow the lot if I don't cash this time, so can't say I'll likely have some dollars just before the main right now.   Thing is you can have a good trip to the WSOP just by making day 3 in something and saving two days of buy ins.

On the flip side, I have also re-entered a WSOP 2 hours in, and in my head I am already having to rework the schedule.

Anyway this year's provisional schedule looks like this.

Jun 24th possible $500 late sat in to $3.5k Wynn championship - depends on how I feel getting off the plane.  I can't see me just paying $3.5k right now, but it is possible.  If I do, and get knocked out, will probably just play smaller stuff on the 25th/26th.
June 25th $1100 Venetian Seniors (alternative $400 WSOP colossus if I haven't heard horror stories of registration lines!) + possible rebuy/switch
June 26th $1100 Venetian PLO8 (alternative $1000 WSOP tag team) + possible rebuy
June 27th $1500 PLO8 WSOP.  Definitely rebuy if out early.
June 28th Not sure, but there is an $800 Big O at Venetian
June 29th and 30th think just the $400 or $600 dailies at Aria.

I haven't worked through every schedule, so could still change.  I am seriously condidering that 3.5k at the Wynn, as can easily see myself doing just as much rebuying in the Venetain $1.1ks when I get caught out by faster structures late on day 1.

Don’t forget the bravo poker app
You must register at the Paris ballroom needing passport utility bill and bank statement
You can they buy in via the app with most forms ie credit card bank card etc
Once you buy you get your seat assignment and just have to go to a booth to get a paper copy
I used it 3 years ago
It worked fine for all wsop events

I tried declaring in the uk and the guy was like yeah .what ? He totally wasn’t interested

Different entering the USA
I was asked how much I had I said a random amount within the ten k then he asked Denise she was honest and he said between us we had more than ten k and should have declared and he could confiscate it and refuse entry and it got pretty serious .
Luckily he let us in
Now they always ask us how much we have and have we declared ?
Almost as if our cards are marked
It takes an extra ten mins to fill the form in and there’s no tricky question
We ALWAYS declare now on the way in

I've had the same situation on the way out, nearly lost the lot at Gatwick in an interview room.

Don't know if anyone is interested, but there is an upper seat going out on the 22nd June for 95k +£385.  I have been checking regularly and it is the first time it has popped up. I can't do it.  You can fly back on economy reward flights on the 2nd July.   For info I paid £1100 economy delight return around those dates, so that Upper flight seems pretty good if you can do the date.

Reward seat availability seems really bad through June. Me and Stu managed to get an economy flight home on June 24th but currently nothing to get us there.

Stu's family circumstances mean we have pretty specific dates which isn't working well with availability at the moment. We really need to fly out on Monday 20th and Mondays in general very rarely seem to have anything until the day or two before.

We've both started collecting Avios to give another option but they don't seem a whole lot better.

3 and a half weeks 'til we go so it's getting a bit dicey. We've actually started looking at connecting flights as an option if we need to go down that route and there seem to be loads. Still hoping for the direct option in PE or upper but nice to know there are a fair few options if it comes to it.

I can see us on the phone to Virgin on the drive down to Heathrow the way it's going Cheesy
