It's everywhere in the states.
I would be flying home as normal, most people on the flight will be positive, whether symptomatic or not

Have some sympathy to this position.  I assume a good chunk of those on the flight out are going to be positive, so am not going to make much difference.   I am fairly sure I could have got on that flight today without breaking any rules.

Despite that I don't want to pass it to someone who is immunocompromised or has been fed anti vax or covid is over bullshit by people who should know better.  And my missus is higher risk than most, and has had fairly bad covid already, so that is an extra consideration for me.

FWIW Just had a wellness check.  Probably a good thing they check on those who don't leave their rooms, but bad they haven't connected this to the fact I told them I had Covid.  I would say that it was probably just bad communication between different departments, but the lady doing the check was the exact same one I spoke to this morning!

When you phone up use the upper option
They answer in 2 mins

We arrived 29 th may two weeks of negative testing then a negative at boots all went outta the window after visiting Paris ballroom for the opening ceremony
We both tested positive within ten days and felt like poo
Thankfully over it now

Cheers Tony, did you have an issue with staying at the hotel?    No we kept quiet

Got through to virgin Atlantic on twitter DM, but they ask me a question every so often and it has been a 3 hour conversation already!

It is a bit weird.  When my wife and daughter got it in January they were properly sick for 4/5 days before testing positive.  I felt fairly rotten then, but never tested positive despite a handful of tests.

I have pretty much been fine, no sore throat, no loss of taste, just the odd cough every hour or so.  No coughing fits or anything like that.  It wasn't just a faint line either, it was a proper dark one.  Am guessing must have had it for a few days and just didn't realise.  Kind of glad I didn't arrange anything with Marky, or spend any time with Pads.  Was going to message Marky, which prompted me to test first.

We had lumpy necks sore throats, Mrs had a few breathing issues for 24 hrs ,then just general flu symptoms and tiredness
I normally sleep 5-7 hrs at home ,I’ve been doing 12 hours easy here
We’ve taken it easy
A lot of room time and some pool time
Very little poker
Packing now after 5 weeks here
Spent $5200 out of cash bought
24 nights at south point comped inc resort fees
$1497 of food at south point to pay
Ubers £200-£300
Laundry $40
Katy Perry n shania Twain £700
$1 k bill estimated at downtown grand - we just asked about comps got told no sorry - we are play$450-600  a day between us and I had a $1400 n $1800 win two nights ago ,so I guess that reduces our profit / loss ac ?
Ridiculous queues at Paris today for the mini main as usual at weekends

All in all we’ve had a great time
Gl to all still here

Think your accommodation bill for 5 weeks is less than mine fot a week and a half.

Read on Twitter queues were 4 hours for the mini main.  Not sure it is going to get better, they are running a $1m guarantee mystery bounty on the first two days of the main event.

Am feeling pretty normal right now, like the back end of a cold where you are a bit snotty.

Noticed Morrisey was doing a Vegas show the other day; had to do a double take; but guess it is easier to sell him here than at home.

Anyway listened to the start, and got waves of nostalgia, but soon descends in to strong pub singer does Morrissey vibes here.

Don't know how useful this is, but managed to arrange a PCR test in my hotel room from https://www.covidchecktoday.com/lasvegas

I paid the $249 for the 6 hour test.  It was on the insistence of the insurer, but they said they would pay.  Clearly expensive, but didn't see anything close on price, and they seemed to get a lot of good reviews.  It didn't seem so bad for getting someone to your hotel room, having to park, find an escort to the room and get a lab test result at very short notice.  I think you can get cheaper if turning up yourself at a centre.

Fella was very efficient turned up with mask, scrubs and gloves on, and whole process was performed quickly.

Got the positive result within 3.5 hours, so I should get my insurance payout.  Have heard some horror stories on PCR tests back home, nothing wrong with my experience on this.

And we are safely home
Not happy about leaving, but then we never are , but glad to get away from the heat
Gl to all still there
At the moment our bill on checking out of downtown grand was the initial £80 as a deposit
Plus $350 >£250;to c card but is that just food n drink ? We don’t know
Flight was an hour late leaving but they do that so it lands on time which it did
Cases were slow to come out but come out they did
There were a lot of suitcases stood up awaiting collecting

I sat on the low travelex window near carousel 5  and was surprised to see people selling $$ and also buying ££ with $$$
Isn’t that the nut worst way to get your money Huh? At $1.48 for a £

Pleased to see no customs there either as I’d bought a few bottles with my free play $$$ from south point
Kraken rum Myers’s rum ardbeg 10 yr old single malt seagrams gin and a Canadian whiskey plus a few fags

Deposit might just be pending, and disappear in a few days

$600 a day in fruities should get you a free room at DTG.

Shouldn't really matter whether you win or lose either, they are only really concerned about your 'coin in'

Flying in the morning, but having a bit of a panic now as being told I need to fill in an attestation form before flying.

Is this 'attestation form' needed now to get boarding pass or will turning up at the airport with NHS Covid pass be enough?

Are you on Virgin?  I think there is a link to it in one of the emails I got

Obviously won't work away from Virgin, but assume the rest have got their own ways if you Google.

Can't remember exactly what was asked, but think it was just have you been vaccinated at least twice and have you got proof.   There may have been a question about if you had Covid.

Bit late now probably but you can sort at the airport if not done by now.

BA use the verifly app, which is straightforward.

My ITIN lapsed and I got hit with withholding tax.  I have form 1042-S which they gave me. Anyone got experience of reclaiming? Looks like massive ball ache but it’s $2700 so obviously want to try!

Didn't see this before, mate.

Let me know if you haven't got it sorted and I'll find out what my old man had to do for his from the Nugget.

Shite. Didn't know they expired. Literally just used mine at Venetian (thin). Any idea how long they last before you need a new one?

They last 5 (tax?) years.

Here is my experience

http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=56335.msg2226092#msg2226092

I got there in the end, took about a year and about 400 or so?  I used http://www.owneraccounting.com/.  I did have to go there in person, but I was in that area with work at the time.

I don't know what the cause of the delay was, he said sometimes the IRS just rejects and the appeal worked.
