Alex is picking up 1/3 of the pots, enough to fold when Tom decides to bluff him off AA, with AA.

Cheesy

Thought that hash tag was a reference to a revenge tournament I made a deep run in, but read it wrong.

Game is great fun. Just what I came for. Tons of levelling wars and banter Smiley

Folded some very strong hands on the river, and called with some very weak hands. To be honest, I'm just trying to get out alive and get witness some epic JB spew, but he's disappointed is so far!

Tbh playing pretty nitty.

Had very few value/ blocker hands all night.

Had two chances for big pots, one would've been a massive preflop race and the other would've been to spew with A4hh vs Alex's KK.
My SB vs his button.

Just had a strange hand with Andy where he 3bt ore and shutdown on Q9x10x

Finally find KK utg+1 and setup the old 1959 backraise.. By flagging the UTG open from Alex.

Get some drunken Indian guy calling behind pre then accusing Alex and PJ of looking alike and playing together.. Then Alex understandably gets a little upset and aggro back at him "we've played multiple big pots vs each other tonight so pls dont accuse us of cheating"

Then the guy blows, "so you have more money than me? That is a ridiculous comment!"

So i try to calm things down by asking him to calm down and he blows at me and shoves on the AJ10dd flop.
I just sigh the whole thing off and fold.

Lost £8 with KK, could be worse..

Thanks mate, was a pleasure to 'host' you boys... but tbh I'd rather just go on a night out with y'all!  Leave me to my game! Cheesy

I enjoyed the challenge of a tougher game, I'm not sure all types would.  But I did make life much easier for myself by just nitting it up a bit.  It meant when I did barrell I didn't get lightly called down or something.

Look forward to tougher lineups in the future and doing well...
The hand I had when I flatted from the SB knowing Dasha would reraise was 10's, I felt it was too weak to 4/6shove vs your UTG range but that it looks like I'm flatting a strong hand and figured you'd just take your positional advantage the majority of the time.
Guess I was wrong and you started shoveling money in anyways with AK... its only A high bro! Cheesy

Other than that, I didn't really have many spots... and its not like I could peel light and not get punished.

Does anyone else hate my 3bt pre from SB to Alex's BTN with  and just check fold on     Huh??
I just felt that Alex would float too much, get out of line too much and that I'd already 'made' my money by his light peel pre... I didn't want to then get into a war over a £45 pot OOP vs the Goulden one...

I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.

Yeah I know we got backdoors, but vs a stubborn player who is going to try and make the blog, lets just let him do that when we've flopped KK full and he's backdooring a dead flush, no?

Cheesy

I just thought was the easiest way to play the hand on that board. I would obv continue on lots of runouts but when I have direct position on the guy, why mess around and blow up the 1/9 times he has the btn?
