Winning is for losers... so we did some more of the losing.

http://wt.ag/Pj48GL
I know people will say fold pre, but I can win so many hands where he has Ahigh and misses as many of them don't barrel enough.

I actually puked on that river, I didn't want to raise at all, even call - from the way he played his hand.. but I could hear Callum and Pat in my ear saying "you have the 2nd nut house ARE YOU COMPLETELY MENTAL?"
nice to know I do have some instincts - wouldve been sick to just 'call' and see you all go WTF you legend. (sigh @ mini pat - the guy in my head)

http://wt.ag/Pj4jBV
I don't know if this is a mistake 5 handed, but when he is 17/15/10 with 30% EP open over 200 hands im not loving many of my options.  As I type this, I've started winning... WTF

Do they know its me? the SuperFish... Forget Rasta, he's last years news - im the hot thing in online poker! S'only Patricks money after all right? (jk mett)

http://wt.ag/Pj2TXS
Think this is pretty standard... wp sir.

http://wt.ag/PiZHLO
Gross, Gross, Gross.... obv wanted to insta fold but he has 80% fold to cbet.. so im thinking gutts aren't in that! That alone made me want to call.  I guess he should only have 66 or QJ but meh...

http://wt.ag/PjbvxH
The SHAME of the session, if im honest I had my hand over call button and didn't see the sizing as id decided id be calling any of his normal sizings and hadn't seen him do anything big like this before.
Probably would've folded to this sizing as I'd see myself as chopping at best.

Some winning stuff... apparently I do that sometimes.

http://wt.ag/Pjd3YI
got an awesome dynamic with this guy... he absolutely despises me! Cheesy wp sir, ty for todays 3rd bi.

http://wt.ag/Pjd7rl
super villain specific...  got a dynamic with him where he has raise/called pre then c/raised random flop textures like 3 times in a row.  Somehow I've just folded each time then this.... such a poo river, gimme a brick and i get it ALL!!

http://wt.ag/PjdceF
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM! Variance take that and shove it up your pipe and smoke it!

http://wt.ag/PjeKW6
Just happened... I had Charlene here and said A6 WAN TIME!!!  then he minraised and i snap called saying cmon show me 6x BABBBBEEYYYYYYYY!

http://wt.ag/Pjf3A9
no value in poker.... apparently.

Going to finish in a few minutes - gl us for the win!

wiii sicko!!!

I really think you should fold the AK (KJJ) hand on the river, I bet if you select 100 random players/regs at 50nl and below and put them in that spot betting $7 on the the end you get shown worse than JT about 3 times.

also, what a life you lead, just the ol on the board, whyever not! That reminds me of a famous DTD hand where a certain somebody got into a 5bet pot £18k deep vs Rob's Kings with and fund the flop. Alright for some innit Smiley

Keep up the good work John, you can do it!!!!!!!! Just focus.

Trying mett...

Like I said, I think that the AK is a fold too.. I've even seen regs ckb Aa here before.

On the way tho.
being a little self promoting I actually think one of my biggest strengths is my mental state all through my sessions, I get angry for two seconds then lol it off. The only things that linger are when I do something silly/ that doesn't work.

But im very positive and now im being more disciplined about no movies/ tv  playing really well the whole time. I've found that clubbing mix's and electro stuff work well as they a decent tempo but aren't too adrenalin inducing. This is something that doesn't come across in hh's and its a shame because its something that takes a long time for people to change in my experience.

http://weaktight.com/4856255

not wanting to raise the river is obviously bad.

http://weaktight.com/4856260

huge huge mistake yeh, AQ for stacks at a PASSIVE limit vs UTG with super tight stats is going to be a massive leak. Even getting in JJ/AK here is going to be super thin/prolly bad

http://weaktight.com/4856232

but here we should actually 3bet, we're 3 handed and hes a nion full stack fish and you decide to call instead of hand befoe where its 5 handed  vs UTG who is a nit. Logic just doesnt make sense.

http://weaktight.com/4856232

c/jamming turn is alot better than this weird smallish/medium bet, not sure why u went for this weird line

http://weaktight.com/4856176

river is pukey, wp i guess Smiley

http://weaktight.com/4856399

wp pre.

would fold river, not usually a bluff line, ever really

http://weaktight.com/4856423

sizing pre is very bad, we're deep and we want him to call some of his bluffs too, just make it $3 and make an extra 10bb, if he was planning on 3betting for value then he isn't folding obv.

http://weaktight.com/4856426

cool, flatting pre is also option to consider

http://weaktight.com/4856427

nice hand

http://weaktight.com/4856443

nice

http://weaktight.com/4856448

Great

these pots are like +$60, but you said you won $7???

Don't just not post bad hands because your scared of the criticism, if thats the case then lets stop the diary and do it all through emails, as we usually learn the most from our mistakes.

I've not done that before and I'm not starting now, but there are a LOT of small hands where I cbet , cbet/fold or cbet 2nd pair get raised and fold and I'm obv not going to put them all up.  Think theres only one or two other big ones that i didnt put up.  There was a BIG swing in NSD earnings thoughout the sessions i played yesterday - played two sessions.

I finished +$20 in showdowns and - $23 in Nonshowdown, and when I usually have a +$ve nonshowdown graph with my style then that shows how much i was bet/folding.

I'll have another look to make sure I didn't miss anything 'interesting'.

@pleno1
Didn't find anything particularly interesting from yesterday just a bunch of 30-60bb pots where I bet/folded in meh/ standard-ish spots.

Today
Couldn't win today but a lot of them were 'messy' that I don't think I can avoid.

Tell me tell meeee!

http://wt.ag/QdAyDZ
guy is a bit nutty, stats are pretty splashy... nvm

http://wt.ag/QdAUdv
Meh...

http://wt.ag/QdBg42
sucks, i wanted to shove turn to look 'spewy' but then realised its ridiculous, I just lose all his 'bluffing' type hands like AK that might bomb again..

http://wt.ag/QdBt7k
With villain being pretty spazzy/ spewy I don't think this is either great or horrible..

http://wt.ag/QdBGY4
Villain seems to be a solid reg, so really not sure about this.. just tough for him to have value as he will NEVER have AQ here and the 4 river makes quads that much more unlikely.. 10's possible but we got one... so hmm... Funny part is I actually thought he could/would have AK here a bunch.

http://wt.ag/QdCnkb
At the time i thought this was fine but now not so sure, I have to admit im pretty weak at knowing what/ how/ when to stack off to <70bb stacks.  Really tilts me that i have a 'big' hole like this (pre i think im ok.. as they have a lot of KJ/A10 type hands so im working with something like 66+, KQ+, AJ+..)

http://wt.ag/QdCQmu
This kinda **** does my ****ing head in... just get it in pre you ****.

WINNARS!

http://wt.ag/QdCZ9q
Vs the BEST WHALE I've ever seen... he was crushing me for about 20 hands playing 82/29 but once I adjusted it was just a waiting game.. semi-cooler but tyty sir.

http://wt.ag/QdDAIi
Told you he was fun.

http://wt.ag/QdDi42
really fun vs this particular guy, we've had some battles over the last few days.. he actually had a hand here, but yesterday he had K4dd in this spot. wp sir.

http://wt.ag/QdDMHn
like this vs this guy.. obv would've gotten it in pre.. but he'd folded to a couple of 4bts so figured i would lose his AJ/ 1010 type hands..

http://wt.ag/MuBijY
Bit cautious in this hand... after all in this spot normally they have a much stronger hand.. if he pots the turn and river i wouldn't like it much.  (edit - obv)

http://wt.ag/MuBkYW
Unfortunately this happened A LOT... Today it felt like I had QQ and KK on every table every orbit... shame I couldn't get more action. C'est la vie.

Cliffs
Feel like I played really well/ solid and out of the top 5 losing hands (total -$46.28) there are 3 gross ones, one semi-mistake.. and an AK vs AA aipf... so good day imo.

Played today's first session and won a nice $7.82 over 966 hands.

Had a few big hands, unfortunately a floosh over floosh hand that we lost....

http://wt.ag/Mzx3HJ
i know how people would have a go for this, but my argument for it went like this in skype just now..

Don't head explode pls
[5:56:04 PM] John Black: couldnd make a pair with KQ vs JJ for a bit on either
[5:56:08 PM] John Black: 4 spades n all
[5:56:11 PM] John Black: neither of us had one
[5:57:39 PM] Patrick Leonard: hh?
[5:58:04 PM] John Black: i cold 4bt and bomb bomb on 10xxx
[5:58:07 PM] John Black: he cc cc
[5:58:24 PM] John Black: he had something like 12% 3bt from sb over like 800 hands
[5:58:26 PM] John Black: thought it was a good spot
[5:58:43 PM] John Black: potentially ckb turn and bluff A river woulda been better
[5:58:59 PM] John Black: he full time bank/called pre
[5:59:03 PM] Patrick Leonard: [5:57 PM] John Black:

<<< i cold 4bt why?
[5:59:04 PM] John Black: so i thought it was more like 66-99
[5:59:21 PM] John Black: because I have KQ and he 3bts SB a lot, and CO opens a lot
[5:59:31 PM] John Black: so i have like the nut hand to 'bluff' with as i block everything
[5:59:40 PM] John Black: great equity vs <JJ
[5:59:54 PM] John Black: and they basically only play AA and KK to these most of the tim
[6:00:05 PM] John Black: but when he timebank calls im 100% he doesnt have these
[6:01:45 PM] Callum Noble: did u turn any equity?
[6:01:52 PM] John Black: turned bluff equity
[6:02:03 PM] Callum Noble: u mean the flush draw completed in a 4bet pot...
[6:02:05 PM] John Black: something like 1043ss 2ss or something
[6:02:08 PM] John Black: yer
[6:02:16 PM] Callum Noble: imo
[6:02:21 PM] Callum Noble: it increases ur bluffing frequency
[6:02:28 PM] Callum Noble: cause now u always shove As/Ks
[6:02:30 PM] Matt Perry: [6:01 PM] Callum Noble:

<<< did u turn any equity?[6:01 PM] John Black:

<<< turned bluff equity:D:D
[6:02:39 PM] Matt Perry: Patrick just punched his laptop
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

http://wt.ag/Pke9Qt
This was debated too... how often and WHY do we flat AA/ KK either IN position or OUT of position vs certain opponents.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

http://wt.ag/PkeN0r
Nice sometimes... I knew I was shoving into AK or AQ.. if i dont turn the 9 I think i bet 1/2pot and check-fold a non 9/club river..

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

http://wt.ag/Pkfl6s
sigh... might be too loose to open any suited cards otb but I also think most people will cfold too much.. where's the set this time?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

http://wt.ag/PkfUNn
This was a gameflow/ in game decision where I felt his range should be pretty FOS and relatively weak two pair heavy AT BEST... I don't think I can call profitably but I think I can definitely bluff profitably in this spot as I can have 45/ AJ/ AA etc.. and a LOT of other value combos here.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Enter the flaming...

Going for food and I'll be back for another session or two later.

- Really trying to make sure I don't bluff too much and that I'm really cautious as Pat and Callum and you guys are telling me how freaking easy <100nl is.  So I'm trying to just 'listen' and do what I'm told like a normal sensible person.

- I WILL get to 100nl this year.  Even if its a shot from 50nl!
