fold turn with TT
why we dont peel K6s in a 4 way pot. 'plays well in a multiway pot' no it doesn't, suited doesnt mean it plays well multiway.
45hh is pure spew. Its AAK, just cbet/give up.
WE DONT HAVE TO WIN EVERY SINGLE HAND WE PLAY

I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.

45 and k6 are really really bad this is the best example of a one as done board.
Really enjoyed rest of it and some nice check backs, checking back nf was definitely a mistake, don't become results orientated over that.
You just need to focus an stop the spew!!
Have session with Callum, in making a vid series for nl10 on pokerstrategy, can watch first ep of that and then off we I again.

Im having the weirdest deja vu with reading a post from Tom and U the 'night after' and U saying the same things.. Strange.
Yeah agree the 45 is a mistake.. The K6 will play well when im btn and deep with the jordieshore lookalike, I shouldn't make many mistakes post flop and there's not often the instance of us both making top pair, and he's already shown the ability to barrell off (he bust 4bt jamming 97ss for 150bbs, got called by AJ which held).
In nfd draw hand I only check back because I know villain would bet/fold QJ Ott. So when he checks his range is only flushes, zome Qx and houses.. With KQ being the most likely hand when he tries to 'trap me'.
Other than that.. I'll be honest, little dissappointed that you're making a 10nl vid series and im not involved.. Didn't think U had any 10nl horses?? Esp because u said U wanted to do it with me and I've been so up for it.
Im sure you have your reasons but its still sucks.
Anyways, off to get some new jeans because I've ruined my size 36 jeans - wtf I've never been this big (little upsetting).
Probably going to see the poker chair I'll get for my Xmas now as I used my 'birthday wish' to get C to Geneva - thanks mum.
Pics later..

UL in the comp John. Sounds like you played pretty good.
Not understanding the nf check back reasoning though.
"So when he checks his range is only flushes, zome Qx and houses"
So why wouldn't we want to get some value from worse flushes and Qx? which must outweigh his house combos by 20:1.

I don't see many people cr KQQ boards with air other than J10.. and obv a 9 turn is bingo.. so he's never checking to fold imo. Its not like he has K10 and he's going to cc, cf.
His line will almost always be cr, cshove.. or cr, cc, shove.. whereas IMO if he had Kx/ Q5 here he's just going to bet again... so when he checks - to me - his range changes completely...
YES - there will be some give up hands.. but if he's craising a fd then he will often check when hit... 'for deception' its a common live line ime.
make sense?

yes it does, so why wouldn't we want to bet! We have nut flush, villain has worse flush = good situation for us right?

I actually had a discussion when drunk with TL900 recently where he reckoned that because of the amount of poker he's played he think's he could insta-win at 50nl if he played it.
as i said to you then, name your stipulations and make it worthwhile for me and you got a wager
play a minimum of 18/16/6 on 4-6 tables only
why do i have to play certain stats? that doesnt make sense.. Also in theory the more tables i play the more edge you have, so that shouldnt be one either.
even i could multitable 10 tables playing nothing but 10/10/2 and win ... its not hard, its not playing streets and playing poker. That's just being a super nit and waiting for people to spazz.
that's not 'poker' in my mind. It's just waiting for coolers and being on the +ve side more than the others because ur a nit. I don't consider that skillful poker.

Player staked for 10nl in "money not as important as fun" shock. If you want him to care about the money you're going to have to stake him at a level where he could actually win some. At the moment this is just pissing your money and his time up the wall. But hey, at least he's having fun.

please no. I had this discussion with Nirvana yesterday... It's 100% NOT that the money doesn't mean enough... what I mean is that I don't want to play just QQ+/ AK and win 0.00005c/hour ... that isn't poker. I want to learn how to play a hand properly (even more than i do now) and how to adjust to ranges properly and learn how to 'play' whatever is the most optimal strategy for the table I'm at.
e.g. If I sit down at a sickly tight table (Jokers Casino in Ecuador was such a table) and notice that no one is 'calling' light as they do in the UK then i would realise this table will require a different set of 'value' lines and plays to make money. As such the opposite adjustment might be needed in your 'normal' Luton G £1/2 game on a friday night... JUST VALUE NO BLUFFS EVER... and you would make £000's.
I am happy grinding 10nl/25nl, the main reason I think I have an attachement to 50nl and wanting to get there, is i know its the first 'grinder' level, and its almost like sometimes I feel the stakes I'm playing at under represent the effort ive put in. But effort or not, if i can't beat them then I need to work harder and realise why what I've done hasn't worked. In this case, I am trying to listen more than ever before. Charlene even commented that the last few days have been more pleasant as i'm even doing it more in my normal life too...
just loading up tv for the session with 'justinsayne'... could be interesting since he's always the one in skype saying 'just jam, they're fish they will call with worse'

Just finished a 1 hour session with John sweating.
Just wanted to post and show how boring we played and John can agree if he played like this all day everyday Patrick would be super happy
We lost $30 but ran bad ldo so should have won 1bi.

Stats

It was just to show we dont need to play like some 32-28 to make money, we can just play tight and solid and print the money at these stakes
Can someone tell me how to make the pictures appear a little bigger or give the option to make them bigger? little hard to read the stats
